Well I feel better now......according to the resident officiating expert on NBATV Insiders, the block on Brad by Amare was a good block.....it was an ILLUSION that the ball was in the cylinder. I don't want to relive it......just wanted to correct everyones thinking out there......it was an ILLUSION......okay kids?

OMG......

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Yeah, I'm sure the refs saw the illusion aswell, it only took them 4 DAYS to figure it out.:rolleyes:

Are you referring to long-time ref Ronnie Nunn? That "Ask The Ref" show is such a transparent attempt by the league to downplay incorrect calls. Nunn said it was "borderline" over the cylinder, therefore, the best call to make was none at all. He also pointed to Miller's wrist not following thru as indication that the ball was still going up.

I heard that they hired David Copperfield as an honorary NBA illusion official.

now all they need to do is get my man David Blaine and they are all set.

::shivers:: David Blaine freaks the hell out of me....my best friend is like obsessed with the guy

ugh ::shivers some more::

How (insert 4 letter word here) UP would it be if the Boston game came down to a last second shot by Boston where we are up by 1 and we have a obvious clean block and we get called for goaltending and Boston wins?

what a load of BS. don't give me that crap.

let me guess, the ball that dampier "blocked" was also an illusion.

Whoah, I feel much better now.....the channel that is owned and run by the NBA states that it is a good block so it must be gospel.

Whatever.

By the way, I won't believe that it's a good or bad block until I see the camera angle from above the rim. Until then no one can really judge it.

Mobley and Miller would probably kill the refs..

You know, I've seen shot from above the rim many times. Do those shots come from some kind of mobile flying cam that just happened to be out of position?
What about the floor cam that gives us all those :eek: up the shorts shots?
hmmm?
