What are everyone's thoughts about Derrick Rose not coming back to play? Personally, and from my knowledge (2nd year grad student - physical therapy), his knee is definitely structurally intact. He has been cleared to play months ago and has been participating in 5 on 5 drills, practices, and run throughs with his team for some time. It is my belief at this point in his recovery process, it is mostly mental. I am sure his knee is not what it used to be, but it never will be what it once was, and I think he may be struggling with that realization. However, I am not privy to his recovery process and do not know the details, so it is hard to come to any firm conclusion. However, if he has not had any setbacks and everything has been going fine, I think he can at least give them 10-15 min a game. His presence alone would give them a huge boost. They need it.
