Do you think that Z Bo isn't about it though if confronted by an NBA player regardless of size?
What difference does that make? My point is that Randolph isn't some kind of defender of the meek, like that quote makes it sound. He wasn't on some noble samurai ****. The fact that he bullied other bullies doesn't make him some kind of hero; he still picked on people smaller than him, too. He just happened to be a bully who was also on some, "This town league ain't big enough for the both of us" type of stuff. He considered himself to be the apex predator of bullies, and maybe he was, but it damned sure didn't make him less of one.

Dude spent half his career as chaotic evil, and the other half as lawful evil, then got old and tried to act like he'd been lawful good, the whole time.

so he never admitted that he had a troubled past and tried to slay those demons?

so in your view he still is?
I mean, it's not as though anything has happened in the intervening time that I feel should have led me to believe that he isn't. He might not be, but I don't know why I should assume that he's become more mature, just because he's gotten older. I'm sure that someone who likes Randolph more than I do would be more disposed to give him the benefit of the doubt, and I wouldn't even necessarily consider that to be unreasonable, but it ain't gonna be me.

you are letting your dislike for the guy cloud your judgment. Truth is, you and I don't know what happens behind the scenes of his post playing days so the possibility of him being a changed man now that he's matured remains undecided.

I will stipulate that this is a mostly fair assessment, and simply say in response that sometimes people become more mature as they age, and sometimes they just get older.

I don't think that I have ever been anything other than upfront about my dislike of Randolph. I would not say that I am letting my dislike for Randolph "cloud" my judgment, I am simply not extending him the benefit of the doubt. But I don't think that I owe it to him, either.
