The Mavs/Wizards game turned out to be closer than I thought it would be and I can't tell if it's because the Wizards are better than I thought they would be or if the Mavs are worse than I thought or if it's just first game wackiness.

I mean, Beal was 9 of 25 and the rest of the Wizards roster is pretty much poop and it still took a 34 point night from Luka to beat them.

Based on the Wiz roster composition, they are in straight tank mode this season. The players they acquired are young players with some upside and when you have a team out there with minimal expectations, you might be surprised sometime. In this case, they will play hard and sometimes get a win that makes you say "how?"
