Well innit that a fine thankyouverymuch to Temeka Johnson? It's really hard to hate on Mique even tho she's an Evil Empire member, and I love Temeka Johnson a whole bunch. They really must want me to stop hatin' on them. Naw...I won't go that far...I'll just continue to be selective in my LA hatin....

What's up with this trade. I think Teasley still has it. Doesn't she? Or am I missing something. I think this does not help the Sparks at all. I like the Rookie of the year, but she is smaller and less experienced.

I don't think it hurts the Sparks, inexperienced or not, Johnson was still one of the more efficient point guards in the league last year. I don't get why the Sparks are moving Teasley either. She does have backstory though - whether that is fueling what is going on behind the scenes we won't ever know. She was out of sorts early last year and hurt for most of the rest of it.

I thought that the Mystics should have either gotten Teasley or Mabika in that trade last year for Mique so I just chalked this trade up on their side as getting it right. If they hang on to Milton-Jones and Tot makes the team, they nearly are the Sparks East.

Sparks East no doubt along with the toughness & swagger...especially (if) when ''TOT'' makes the team. This will be a most entertaining game.

Maybe the Mystics made the trade if only for hometown purposes. IIRC, Teasley is from the D.C. area.

The Mystics would do better than to make trades to get DC people....they had a pretty good point guard to begin with who counted less against their salary cap. They also don't have the attendance problems that some teams do that would better necessitate acquiring local players to excite and engage your fan base.
