Most suitable SF the Kings could actually afford?

I don't think we'd have to pry Marvin Williams from anything im sure Danny ferry would love to dump his contract. completely uninterested in marvin Williams.

AK I would definitely have him over JT and twill if that was the scenario

Totally agree. For where Williams was drafted, he's been a major disappointment. Please don't tell me about his improvements last season. This is a guy that entering his 8th season in the league. He should have improved 3 or 4 years ago. I'm not interested!

I don't know why, but I have a very bad feeling we'll end up with Beasley at SF...

I dislike Beasley for the same reason everyone dislikes Beasley, but I would easily talk myself into him. Easily. 23 years old. 6'9 (great SF size) .. still massive potential. He has the 'ball hog' and 'never passes' reputation, but he has only averaged more than 13 FGA per game once in his 4 seasons. Not my first choice .. not even a player I would target, but if he's on our team, I'm buying in. I can tell you that right now. At least I'm honest.

Beasley is very talented, and if we could do a brain transplant, I'd cough up an instant yes. But as you said, if for some reason he ends up on our team, which I doubt, I'll support him and hope he's figured things out.

if we really want to land an SF this offseason i think our best bet is to make an attractive offer for either wright or singleton. As much as id like for this team to look like the 04 pistons i think we make a greater improvement by adding Wright instead of Singleton.

Here's an interesting article about Singleton. Sounds like it should be easy to get him in a trade. I wouldn't be surprised if Washington would settle for Jimmer without any other pieces. They're high on shooting-guards, and they still need someone to fill in for Beal when he's on the bench. Both were drafted last year, with Jimmer being the higher pick and the one that produced slightly more. I think it's an easy trade for both teams, improving them in the right positions.

jimmer for singleton or Hayward would be a dream scenario IMO.

A dream, because neither team would be that crazy. Especially Utah (despite the Jimmer connection). Hayward will be a very good player.

Yeah, Hayward is going nowhere. They have him locked in as the SF of the future. Singleton is a different issue all together. I also seriously doubt that Jimmer is going anywhere. Wright would be choice between he and Singleton, simply because of his experience. And I doubt he would be that hard to pry away from the Warriors.

I wouldn't mind Beasley that much as well. I'd assume we would probably lose Thornton if that were to happen since the Twolves re SG needy.

Fair enough, but with Ariza coming, don't you think they'd be willing to trade Singleton to the Kings for a player or two that we can do without? We're talking a cheap defensive SF who can hit three. He's exactly what we're looking for, and I for one would be happy to give the Wizards a package of 2 players of their choice among the following: Fredette, Garcia, Hayes, Outlaw, Salmons, maybe Whiteside too, but I haven't given up on him and he's currently our only potential rim defender.

I think the Wizards would give up Singleton easy. I doubt the Kings will even pursue him.

Don't care about Hayward. As for Singleton, if Jimmer is not enough, the Kings can easily throw in another player they don't need and make it an appealing deal for the Wizards. See this post.
