Kings Monk is what happens when you take the handcuffs off a guy.

I always think about Jason Williams in situations like these. Adelman let him play free. Every other organization tried to reign him in. Through all his faults, Kings Jason Williams was the best version.

Monk is the Kings best 6th man since Bobby Jackson. Monk should be is serious consideration for the NBA 6th Man of the Year Award.

To be fair, the “best sixth man since Bobby” moniker isn’t really too hard a hurdle to climb. The only other option might be the two month span in the year we played Bogi off the bench where he wasn’t visibly exhausted from playing FIBA basketball all summer.

Good to see they improved their defensive rating over the last 10 games while still maintaining the same level of offensive efficiency.

NO and LA are looking like the most well rounded.
