Skinner 5 mil
#26 pick

Houston in:

Gadzuric 5 mil

Mil in:
Thomas 7 mil
Snyder 1 mil
Howard 6 mil
Alston 4 mil

Why Sac does it:
Promising pg who has proven he can put up numbers, they get a 2nd pick in a pretty deep draft and they get Skinner who could be a meh, but he also and ender next year I think? Still, Petrie would have to be brain dead to not do this.

Why Sac doesn't:
Trading Bibby to a team that pretty much needs a pg like him to be a contender is dangerous.

Why Mil does it:
Mo isn't gonna sign with them anyway, so they might as well get something in return. They are the only team that have wanted Thomas for years, and I have no idea why . Snyder can be a decent bench player, they get Howard who is older, but he can provide some bench offense and they get Alston, who is a chucker but is an upgrade over anybody they could start if Mo walks.

Why Mil doesn't:
They haven't given up hope on Williams and it doesn't really improve them at all. They do lose a good point guard, but they are gonna lose him anyway IMO.

Why Houston does: The loss of the pick may hurt, but they are finally a complete team with Bibby alongside Tmac and Yao. Maybe Bonzi comes out to play under Adelman next season and that is a very good team. Gadzuric or Hayes could be a roleplayer at PF. And they ship ALston.

Why they don't: Maybe they don't want to give up a pick for Bibby, but I don't see why they wouldn't. This team is primed to win now.

Ha! Love it! :D

I'm sorry, but :D .

Houston goes yay! Kings go yay! But the reason everybody else goes yay is because you have completely screwed over Milwaulkee and dumped everybody's complete garbage on them. Hope you have some pictures of Milwaulkee's GM. With a goat. Wearing lingerie. :D

Yah they do like KT though, I have no idea why. They really don't give up a whole lot that demands a whole lot. That is why this trade doesn't seem so good. Maybe they pick up Conley with the 6 pick if he is available to replace MoWilliams who is probably gonna walk anyway.

Two problems. First, Bibby can't be traded until his ETO is off the books, which, as I understand it, is July 1st. Maybe he could waive the option early, but I don't know if that's possible. Second, NBA teams can't even begin to negotiate with free agents until July 1st, and can't sign them for two weeks after that. So you can't sign and trade Mo Williams and have a draft pick in the deal - the draft's already over by then. Sure, you could try to convince Houston to use their #26 on the guy you want, but without any assurance that Williams will actually take a sign-and-trade to Sac (and remember, even asking him if he'd be interested is a big no-no) why would Houston take Petrie's guy instead of their own? I mean, aside from the fact that if he's Petrie's guy, he's probably the best player available.

Come to think of it, that's probably the cheapest, best scouting Houston could do. But the deal still doesn't work.

giving mo williams ten mil isn't that bad. He is a pass first PG with a nice offensive game. Sure, its overpaid, but we could do a lot worse than Mo for Bibby, and you won't get a better PG IMO

Williams isn't any more of a pass-first PG than Bibby, he's actually in the same mold as Bibby. He's better on the ball offensively, and defensively he has the quicker feet, but is by no stretch a stopper or creator. People forget Bibby was an 8 assist PG his sophomore and junior season in the NBA playing for the lowly Grizzlies, and then his numbers dropped-- imo, drastically for a PG-- while having what most would call a breakout season with us.

Mo Williams might be better than Bibby in the long run and I think the kings should go full bore after him.
