Might be time to chill

It has now been awhile since we have transitioned from being extremely happy about our new ownership team and what they've accomplished to where they are taking this franchise. I for one have not seen anything they have done coming but ended up really excited about the decisions they've made. We as kings fans will always be passionate about our team, but it might be time to take a step back and let our new FO handle their business, and let's see what results come of those moves before we judge them. I feel like we are all still acting as if the maloofs run this team, and feel the team is still being run into the ground. I for one will let things play out. These guys know far more than we do and I choose to trust them. Maybe some of you should too.
 
I think Kings Fans suffer from PTSD syndrome from the Maloof era, and jump at every little trigger now. We all need group therapy :)

Ah, yes, I understand but this is a forum and hysterics, paranoia, and personal vendettas are part of the game. I suspect just about everyone agrees with you. That's the bottom line. I assume that of every poster no matter what they say. We are fortunate beyond the wildest expectations. It doesn't hurt to be reminded of this periodically, though.
 
Very smart picks hitting at the core of need. Now if Malone makes PPat the awesome SF he can become, and Boogie gets his head on straight and coach can get everyone to buy into the "culture" they talk about, it is a great first step. We need not worry about who stays and who goes for what but what can the TEAM become in personality and culture.

Once the core of players have bought in and the majority accept being role players, they are off and running (pun intended). For only the second time since Summer League has be in Las Vegas, I'm really looking forward to it this year. Now we all have to be patient while the new folk start their magic and get off our high horses until January at least. Remember, other than draft choices and signed players, everyone at Summer League is fair game.
 
You all chill if you like. I'm pumped about free agency kicking off in a few days, pumped about summer league, and wish Oct wasn't so far away. Damn calender.

This heat makes me want Oct even more.
 
I don't think people need to chill. They do need to be more careful and considerate when reading peoples posts. With so many new and old faces posting a lot over the last few days I have definitely noticed words, posts, and points being misunderstand considerably more often than they have been in the past. Pretty amusing to see an entirely different vibe in most of the threads. So much more aggressiveness and hostility than normal.

Excellent point. We've been dealing with the Maloof effect for so long, it's gonna take a while for us to get back to being able to discuss things without rancor. I'm just very glad to see so many old faces returning to KF. It's gonna be fun.
 
Some of us could cool it with the hostility/aggressiveness, but I can't chill no matter how hard I try. This is the most exciting time, in quite a long time, to be a Kings fan.

I cannot chill, got Kings fever already, can't wait to see them in action! My wife's work has season tickets in the red seats (sideline) and they raffle two tickets for every home game, comes with a VIP parking pass too!

I will be taking my boys several times, and can't express how grateful I am for wanting to attend as many games as possible not out of dread of the team leaving, but out of pure love of OUR Sacramento Kings!
