A fairly obvious point, but we have been so pathetic this month that we are still a game or two ahead of the losing pace I expected at this point, so let them celebrate somehow failing to choke for one ngiiht. Plenty of time to ge tback on the losing track against Orlando.

However, I really dont want the Kings to have THE WORST record in the NBA. They never end up with the top pick. 2nd -4th worst seems like a good goal to aim for

As opposed to what? Win a meaningless game in January when we are already out of the playoffs? Damn straight its the main goal. Weakness of the draft maybe makes it even more important. Might only be 5-7 guys worth having in the whole draft. People continue to fight the obvious -- win big or lose big (and thus win the draft). Nothing in between is worth pursuing. Fortunately I have developed considerable confidence in our sad squad's ability to pursue the real goal without me having to sweat it too much.
