What’s up everyone! I hope you all enjoyed the two-part premiere of Masterchef! If you missed last night’s episode, here’s a link to watch it online.

Through out this season I’ll be posting comments and insight on each episode, until about mid way through the season (I left for a different job). I worked as a casting assistant, basically a glorified babysitter. I never work as a casting assistant but I made an exception so I could try really good food.
This season we flew in twice as many contestants to audition, 100 total. The audition process took 4 days to shoot, in a dumpy warehouse in east Los Angeles.
About the cast….
Fan favorite “Albert.” The best part about him is the more he drinks the less you can understand anything he says.
And how can we forget the naked sushi guy? All I’ll say is that we were all fighting to be in the control room as she presented.
Christine's one of my favorites. There was a great moment when a cameraman got to close as she was cooking and christine gave him a little slap with her hot spatula. Wish we could have showed that.
I'm a little tired so not too sure what else I should post here. Hope everyone enjoyed last night's episode.
