Marvin Williams in Sac?

G-League
is marvin williams a possibility, we need a better 3 then nocioni and frisco and marvin williams is a restricted FA, i was wondering if the kings would sign an offer sheet marvin williams is a tier 2 SF in the league, i jst havent seen anyone talk about him.

I don't see the point in bringing in another young sf when we have two kids with potential already in Greene and Casspi.

Why is everybody chasing SF's we have 4 of them. we have 2 bigs. lets focus on a suitable backup there first.

ya know.... seriously. i wonder if the hornets would trade chandler for kt and cash? then we could just bring hawes off the bench. the bucks are trying to save cash, why not trade for gadzuric? okay maybe not him but a back up center of some type.

Well funny you mentioned Gadzuric. I thought of him in a Beno swap. With us still keeping or expiring KT. Gadzuric had like 2 good months about 4 years ago. Other than that I haven't heard from him since.

I continue to like that idea, but it does blow our FA money next year, so it depends on our future plans. Would not be KT and cash BTW, KT and somebody else. I thought Beno given their lack of a backup and general backcourt oes, but I;m not sure of anythign with Bneo. And fact is if the Hornets do that their frontline is going to be screwed. They are alreayd shallow, remove Chandler annd they are shallow and tiny.

We are shallow. As of right now our only backup for the PF/C is Kenny Thomas. We have no other bigs. Unless you count Donte. If he could gain about 15-20 more pounds and learn the position. Donte, Jason, Spencer? 3-man frontcourt rotation for years to come? Not Sure if Donte could be the PF or not. Of course that may be the thinking of GP and company. I wonder if he has really topped out at 6'11 or are they giving him a little.

Just pick up a big on the cheap to fill out the bench for now.
That will give all our young guys a chance to develope together this year.
We can't expect a lot this year. With KT's money coming off the books and more promising big men in the draft next year, I say just wait it out.

there are no decent bigs in the market, please dont say oberto.

Once Fabricio Oberto(notes) clears waivers in Detroit on July 7, there will be several teams courting the ex-San Antonio Spurs forward, including Washington, Phoenix, Sacramento and Indiana, sources say. There’s still a strong possibility he could return to the Spurs, who traded him as part of the Richard Jefferson(notes) deal last month.

That's hilarious. I've NEVER liked that guy, by the way. I didn't even realize he was still in the league.

Williams is okay, and could potentially develop into more because he's young, but to me appears to have a pretty standard SF skill set. With the SF personnel we have, there's no reason to make a move in that position unless it's for a guy that brings something special to the table. Anthony Randolph's crazy rebound and block production, for example.
