WOOOOOOSH.....Shows he isn’t working on his weaknesses.

Huh? All is now lost....Objectively. He's only regressed since his debut. Shame. I guess the sun will never truly shine on the sacramento kings.
It's weird. I was watching some Ayton highlights and never saw him use his left hand. Bust?
What I've noticed with Bagley is that he doesn't always get his body between the ball and the defender. He probably has never had to worry about it because he could just rise over everyone. When he does this it stands out because it's bad technique. But it is not that hard to fix. Yes, the 19 year old will need to work on skills and technique. Which is normal. He has the potential to give you 20 and 10 while still needing to work on his game. That's where his potential and upside come in and makes him worthy of a #2 pick.
A young player in high school and college do what works. They don't have to evolve until necessary. With really athletic or tall players, it is not until much later on when they come across other athletes that force them to adjust.
Never?! I'm sure he's thrown down some two handed dunks. That guy is extremely talented with both hands![]()
As was mineI'm pretty sure @Livinthedream's post was humorous/sarcastic in nature.![]()

... And we didn't see Doncic yet! Some people here have so much expectation on this guy just because he is a number 2 pick that it's crazy. If you didn't know, I have news for you: being a second pick doesn't make you a star. These are the second picks of the last 10 drafts:
Beasley, Thabeet, E. Turner, D. Williams, Kidd-Gilchrist, Oladipo, J. Parker, Russell, Ingram, Ball.
Not so many superstars, right? If you think a number 2 pick should come in and dominate, well, you are very wrong.
I can't believe people are ready to judge a kid after 2 freaking summer league games. Good thing he had a very good game one, I can't imagine the level of craziness around here if he had 2 horrible games.
After watching him come out and put no impact on the game 3, I really question his talent and makeup at all
I just want him to be a solid starter
He’s already imprinting himself as not an enthusiastic looking 2 pick which will hastily remove Vlade
I wanted him so bad, he was the absolute no brainer at #2 for me. I'll definitely be watching him with interest for the next few years.Bagley struggles wouldn't be so hard tobstomach if Jackson wasnt tearing it up and looking the far superior talent over in Memphis

Before I point out the obvious flaws in such statement, I'd like to say it has been a looooong time before I remember a teammate sticking up for one another in Sacramento. Certainly don't remember much of that in the Cousins era...

Summer League may be the least useful predictor of NBA success there is. I suppose you could say that these players are being “coached,” but in the absence of practice time and team chemistry, Summer League action remains a close cousin of the pick-up game. Plenty of players shine in that environment. Others don’t. Mostly it’s an opportunity for young cornerstones to get some reps, for undrafted players to get noticed, and to underline the NBA’s desire to be a year-round sport.
But there’s no discernible pattern of Summer League success forecasting NBA success. Some guys play well and it “translates.” Some guys play well and it doesn’t. Some guys stink it up and they shine during the regular season, anyway. Some guys just stink. Tyreke Evans absolutely dominated Summer League play, but he never developed into an all-star level talent. Demarcus Cousins was largely unimpressive during his Summer League stint, but he eventually evolved into one of the best bigs in the game prior to his Achilles injury.
Point is, the hot takes about Marvin Bagley’s Summer League performance are burning with the heat of a thousand suns... and it’s just plain silly. Getting too high or too low over these games is probably ill-advised for your stress level, given the utterly minimal stakes. I guess if you were hoping the Kings had drafted someone else, then it represents your first opportunity to be vindicated. Good for you. Pat yourself on the back. A meaningless game has proven you “right.”
Now, I’m hardly mister rah-rah, purple-tinted sunglasses. Rarely do I ooze an excess of positivity about the Kings. You won’t find me making definitive statements about how good Bagley or Fox or any other King is going to be. Personally, I’m approaching this new youth movement with cautious optimism and a healthy dose of skepticism. I can see the faint outline of a future winner in this roster, but some holes need to be filled and a lot has to break right for that to happen.
So... give it time to happen, I say. The new guys need at least a couple seasons under their belts before we start making proclamations about what they will or won’t become. Fun though it may be to catch a glimpse, the effing Summer League isn’t going to reveal much.
I’m my mind, I assume he will be a bust, so I’m not going to get worked up about it. If he continues to suck in SL no negative sum for me. Regular season? Ditto.
His importance is no more than Nigel Hayes
Let’s get a big in FA. Hope Giles develops into solid starting material. Get a qualified GM
Maybe Bagley comes into play, but it will be as a bonus, as I assume he’s a bust
Gotta remember that JJ effing Hickson put up better summer league stat lines than Boogie did. Some guys look amazing in summer league. Others not so much.
I still say that Josh Selby was one of the best SL players I ever saw
In all seriousness look at these 3's he was burying. the dude was ON FIRE..
also I will always remember when Marco Bellineli dropped 37 in SL and I swear people were saying all sorts of crazy things..
there is also the curious case of Derrick Roses terrible SL appearance and then rather quick turn around to be the youngest MVP in league history...
