Made it to California!

Hi everyone,

I know it's been a while since I've posted - hope everyone is doing well.

I finally made it to California and am currently in San Francisco although I plan to drive tomorrow to Sacramento to finally see where the Kings reside.

Does anyone know of places I absolutely HAVE to visit? Any recommended tours, etc?

Wow! Glad to have you here! I'm sure the Sacramento folk will have all kinds of suggestions for you. I'll just mention that there's a great exhibit at the California Museum right now. It's all kinds of stuff from William Randolph Heart's fantastic collection. If you aren't planning on visiting San Simeon while you're in California, this might be something to consider.

Rockmeister, just visiting. My line under my name was from when I switched jobs last year. Nothing in particular - was just wondering about museums, places to eat, the stadium, regular can do it all in a day type stuff.
