I didn't say that, so don't make it sound like I did. I did say that Jasikevicius's game improves Macabbi a lot more than Hill's does for Magic.

From what I've seen of Jasikevicius (and heard about him too), he is the best point guard in Europe, and he made the US team (and the rest of the world) look like fools a couple of times, and Grant Hill is just an average NBA player right now, if that.

Er...said "average" NBA player averaged 20ppg and made the All-Star game. He's not what he once was, but he's still a lot better than most.

As the only one he's had in the last 5, and as player for the Orlando Magic of all teams, you are forgiven. ;)


In truth, he was obviously still a very good player, but he really had lost far more than most people were admitting. Can't rebound anymore, defense is nowhere close to what it was, has trouble getting to his spots the way he once did. But it was a feel good story just to have him have one more season in the sun.
