Hollins averages 6.5 rebounds per 36 minutes in his career. That's...Derrick Williams at PF type of rebounding. With Cousins out, Collison being useless all of a sudden (it got to be health related too, you just don't drop off this much) and Landry becoming a ghost, Kings didn't have much room for error and great shooting from Toronto did them in.

Why is there a hockey game on the Radio.com KHTK feed, instead of the postgame? Perhaps more importantly, why are NHL games exempt from copyright blackout?

All these excuses for Malone all the good and even decent coaches can find a way to win when their main guy is out. Our coach throws at the dart board on the sideline to determine his rotations.

I love how his idea of fixing our perimeter defense is by taking out the bigs and letting them ride the pine. Raptors were taking contested shots in that first q that they weren't going to make all game but naw out coach is too stupid to see that.

OK, so say we get rid of Malone. Who do you suggest we hire that wouldn't clash with our team's make-up AND still be in Demarcus's good graces?

For some reason, once a player "sucks" he continues to suck even when he's actually pretty good. This was easily Sessions best game of the year and Collison's worst. And really, Sessions was a big reason we had a shot to take this one down in the first place. He messed up the end of the game, but it was only a matter of time before our D-Will, Sessions and Reggie Evans lead charge came crashing down.

Also, lets not forget we've basically taken a run at 3 of the top 5 NBA teams without our best player and still been relatively competitive through the stretch. You can debate Toronto, but they're a damn good team and they certainly aren't any lower than being a top 7 team. For instance, say we played the exact same way against our next 3 games without Boogie. (Indy, Utah, Orlando) We probably walk away from that stretch 3-0 or 2-1 with the same production. But you can't make mistakes or sacrifice talent when trying to beat the NBA's best

Essentially, the sky isn't falling. Far from it actually. It's just pure bad luck our best player got sick in one of the tougher 3-game stretches we'll have all year

Obviously, a better coach would have been able to go 3-0 against teams who are a combined 42-10 without DeMarcus playing. Never mind the fact that at full strength, we've looked as good as we've been in 8+ years against a brutal schedule. It's this 3 game stretch without DeMarcus that defines who Malone really is as a coach.

No if we keep playing smallball Utah and Orlando will murder us in the paint and on the boards

You forgot to mention that Toronto was without their best player too...

Derozan out. Cousins out.

Gay and Lowry present.

Home court advantage for the Kings and still we did not win.

What the hell happened coach Malone?

Sad if malone doesn't coach this team to an 82-0 record people want him fired. Ryan Hollins starts and you expect us to beat the raptors yes they don't have DD but that's one of the deepest teams in the league we have Hollins starting Hollins.

If he can't play, don't start him. Don't have him on the team, wasting a roster spot

At some point in time if a PG is going off on us and Collison/Sessions can't contain him I would like to see the coach put Rudy Gay on that PG in the 4th during crunch time, Rudy when he's engage (when the game is on the line he's normally engage), can do a solid job defending man to man by using his length/size. In particular against physical PGs like Lowry you at least take away Lowry's ability to overpower our PG's. Lowry was massacring our PG's we should have switched Rudy or Casspi onto Lowry for a different look..

A lot of little things. Toronto is still a solid team, and without Cousins and with Collison/Landry being bad Kings are not. A couple of selfish moments, couple of too unselfish moments, couple of lucky bounces on boards, Ross getting so hot at the start, Kings even shifted defense and double-teamed him; James Johnson using all the little seams in Kings defense; Toronto really hitting their FT, while Kings were just at season average. Again all the little things...
P.S. Please come back big guy, pretty please!
