Per http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/1...ia-76ers-expected-land-minnesota-timberwolves:

The Minnesota Timberwolves have an agreement in principle to acquire Philadelphia's Thaddeus Young in addition to No. 1 overall draft pick Andrew Wiggins as part of a three-team trade that will send Kevin Love to the Cavaliers, according to sources with knowledge of the teams' deal structure.

Although nothing can be finalized before Saturday, sources said that the Wolves are poised to surrender a future first-round pick along with the expiring contracts of Luc Richard Mbah A Moute and Alexey Shved to the Sixers for Young, who has two seasons left on his deal valued at $19.4 million.

The Wolves already had verbally agreed to acquire Wiggins, 2013's No. 1 overall pick Anthony Bennett and a future first-round pick from the Cavs for Love. Minnesota would then have the option of flipping that first-rounder to Philadelphia, along with Mbah A Moute and Shved, for Young.

Despite the talk that Minnesota would ship Bennett to Philadelphia as part of this deal, it appears that all along Flip Saunders planned to keep him. The deal for Young is apparently Mbah a Moute, Shved and that draft pick (which is actually a protected first rounder from the Heat) which makes sense as Luc is a mentor figure for Joel Embiid.

Assuming both deals go through the Wolves will have an interesting team next season. Lots of youth, athleticism and potential. I'd guess their opening day lineup would look like this:
PG: Rubio/ Mo Williams/Barea
SG: Martin/LaVine/Budinger
SF: Wiggins/Brewer/Budinger
PF: Young/Bennett/Turiaf
C: Pekovic/Dieng

and then they have a couple extra SFs in Muhammed, Glenn Robinson III as well has the rookie Hummel a 2nd round pick PF coming over from a year in Spain.

That team will have some serious growing pains at times but lots of versatility and should be fun to watch.

Wouldn't be surprised if the T-Wolves try to move K-Mart. His salary's a little high and he's sorta in the wrong stage of his career for a rebuilding team like the T-Wolves, especially if Flip decides Wiggins is capable of getting some minutes at the 2 as well. Very interesting team but thy've got a bit of a minutes crunch at the wing positions now and Ricki Rubio still has serious flaws.
