Looking for a nice place for lunch in Sac.

Hello,

I am looking for a nice place to eat a late lunch after my graduation in Sacramento. Any ideas or recommendations? I went to Tunel 21 for my last graduation (BS), and want to go somewhere as nice, but a different place. The Rusty Duck?

What kind of a price range are you looking at?

Any preference as far as the cuisine?

If it isn't a weekend I'd suggest Biba's. They are closed Sundays and I think they only serve dinner on Saturdays.

Oh my, I haven't been to the Rusty Duck in years....but, I totally love that place. And, yes, if you like Italian, you cannot beat Biba for Northern Italian Cooking. But, Biba is much more expensive than the Rusty Duck.

I heard Johny Carino's in Natomas was good. (Near Arco Arena across Natomas Marketplace)

As for local restuarants, try the Distillery. Even though people under...i can't remember whether its 18 or 21 and up. But you might want to call in advanced.

Another good place is Fox and Goose...you can check out their lunch or dinner menu online in advanced.

Here's their lunch menu: http://www.foxandgoose.com/files/foxgoose_lunch_menu.pdf

If you like seafood and dancing every 30 minutes....;) , you can try Joe's Crab Shack in old Sacramento.

Sacramento, CA 95814

I know a couple other restaurants, but Its 12:55 or so and I can't really think of others.

Great recommendations! I may end up at the Fox & the Goose, but I am not sure. Now, when you say there is dancing every 30 minutes at Joe's Crab Shack, what do you mean?

About every 30 minutes, the employees drop their things and the music turns up and they start dancing. ;)

Really? And they are all fully clothed? Sounds bizarre and funny.

Haven't been to the Crab Shack, but I've heard it's great. And I absolutely love The Rusty Duck. Beautiful atmosphere and great food.

Rusty Duck is good...go there at Thanskgiving when my parents are in town.

"the employees drop their things??" I don't like seafood, but I might have to go check this place out!! :p
