Lebron new NIKE commercial

This is prolly one of, if not the best and realist ad Nike ever did.. loved the chuck blink:D sure it makes anyone who hates Lebron and watchs it hate him a little less, so thats a job well done to Nike.

In response to "what should I do" I say shut up and just play ball, you are what you are and thats set in stone. No point in trying to be liked or anything.

Not that I wasn't going to watch, regardless, but this has pretty much made "Inside the NBA" must-see TV later tonight.

A slick ad-company written commercial is supposed to change how I feel about LeBron? No commercial should ever be taken for an indicator of anything actually real or meaningful. At least I hope that's not what we've come to think as a society. Commercials are intended to manipulate people's feelings as much as possible.

You should shut up and take the heat for what you did and not try to wiggle out of it with this poorly veiled victim play.

Then don't take the commercial as meaningful, and get upset for Nike trying to sell its brand.

I don't support LBJ, or his decision. Its just a good commercial IMO. No reason for anyone to get ticked by it :)

Edit: Rereading this post it sounds like I'm being an ***, that is not my intent. What is my intent? IDk ... :P

Just how worked up or satisified can you get about a commerical created by an ad company at the behest of a multibillion dollar shoe company eager to keep one of their main shoe pitchmen viable enough to sell shoes for them?

Tell me LeBron conceived and wrote that himself and we can have a conversation about the nature and depth of LeBron.

Im not really partial to Lebron outside of his actual game. That being said ive been on his side the whole time. If youre not a cavs fan then why be upset? Does Lebron somehow become less talented by joining the heat? It all seems pretty silly and childish to me. Theres an overblown facination with legacy that has skewed the perspective of many.

I'm not upset by the commercial. Its just a shoe company's idea of the way to use LeBron to sell their shoes. I didn't think it was a good or bad commercial. It was only so-so for me.

LeBron could go wherever he wanted. He was a free agent. I'd always like to see more loyalty from players, but sports isn't usually that way, where loyalty to a team is the exception these days. We could be in the same boat as Cleveland in a few years.

The ad is good/ok. It tells people to let him be but I can’t get passed that, I don’t know what I’ve done wrong look. I wish he could see how bad his “Decision” was. That’s what really bothered me...And I still believe that there will be no fan base that could have given him the love and real support than his Ohio fans.

He’s not less talented because he’s going here or there. It has nothing to do with his talents, it’s the way he handled himself especially with his “Decision.” If he wanted to leave, his contract was up and he left, but he could have kept himself more professional and respectful of his Ohio/Cleveland fans.

I also wanted him to stay with the Cavs. and I think they gave him everything he wanted (and they shouldn’t have), they treated him like a “King.” and then at the end he talked about loyalty from people in the Heat organization.

And no, people these days have no loyalty. It’s pretty sad and it’s disturbing.

And you might be right, his legacy might be just fine if he’s going to be the leader of the team. I personally can’t stand how they mention Lebron’s name before Wade’s, but that’s just me.
