 boy would i hate to see the reaction i would get if i made a blanket statement like that about females
Probably right, but I did take my comment back! ;)

Update from last night: No poof dust was needed, all is right with the world, or atleast as right as they could be for the time being. But since I was up late last night I slept in very late this morning, thus leading to my insomnia tonight, does that make sense? :)

Car body repairs are always very costly. Even the slightest ding costs a lot, it seems. Believe me I know-my car was cursed a couple of years ago and had three body repairs done in six months time. What I don't understand is why hoopsfan has to pay the deductible, since it wasn't your fault. Even if the perpetrator did a hit and run and you don't know who it is, wouldn't your comprehensive cover it? Mine did when my car got keyed up, even though we had no idea who did it.

Well, looks like I'll be awake for a while. There was a bit of a ruckus outside. I went out with my trusty flashlight... and almost ran right into a bear who was meandering through.

I think the pounding of my heart must have scared him away.

^ It wasn't too bad, at least it was quiet. How was the birthady party, tubiscus?
Thanks for asking Loopy.
Bibbylicious and BDay boy gleefully annihilated me at Lazer Tag but my team (thanks to daughter) still won!
Bowling, pizza, cake, Lazer Tag...10 year olds...at 51, I fit right in!!

Hoopsy, does your employer (or any nearby building) have outdoor surveillance video (atm etc) that might show the hit and run? You might also check the lot for a car with the appropriate paint transfer? Just a thought....the jerk probably has a suspended dl and no insurance anyway?
Is it possible to post a photo flier on a kiosk or e-mail etc to "thank" the person who committed this act? You may never get enough proof for a criminal (or even small claims) case, but maybe someone with a guilty conscious will send $300 your way...either way, sorry for your misfortune..

VF, just think of the bear as Danny Fortson and go kick his a$$!:p

I'm up late, as usual, enjoying the first of 3 nights off after a very busy and crappy 3 night work week. Glad I took Sunday night off, I hear it was as bad as the other 3. A glass of milk, a few Girl Scout thin mints, and the History Channel...hmmmmm:D

They classify it as collision..not comprehensive. A moving vehicle hit it...as I was working diligently inside!! ;)
Ah-ha. I thought that since your vehicle was sedentary, it would still be covered under comprehensive. Those pesky insurance companies and their terminology....

There is a camara on our building but it's directed at the door, and my car was 2 spaces over from the door..I already asked our security department. I have a suspicion that it was one of the meter readers who park in the same lot...they all drive pretty crazy. It was a white vehicle, but........all the meter reader trucks are white!! My co-workers have said that I should leave a "thank you" note too. Perhaps I will.Aarrrrrgh!! But other than that...looking forward to the weekend.:)

Men really are pigs. I'm not having a good night, :( ready to go home and go to bed and start over tomorrow. It's 4.57, only 3 hours to go, I think I can make it that long.

Yes! Since my body is all out of whack from being hypothyroid, I am having trouble sleeping. Fortunately, it did not stop me from taking a 2 hour nap this afternoon (or should I day yesterday afternoon? :D ).

I am surprised I am still awake, I only had 5 hours of sleep last night.

TUB- Great American sounds FUN but EXHAUSTING!

6th- I hope your system gets back in sync, mine is thrown off too because I have to wake up early on certain days and I don't think I really get used to it.

I just played beach volleyball for 4 hours, and I am SORE. It is so fun and a great workout.

Dang! It says that there are 66 people on the site right now (1:35 a.m. PT). That is 15 members and 51 guests. Are people all up late, or are people here from around the world? :)
