Now why did you have to go and mention garlic fries, VF?? You know I'm a garlic fiend!! Even at 9:45 in the morning...I'll take some.
loopy- I had a dentist appointment yesterday before work...and my dentist is in Auburn, where I used to live. Long story...but I'm sticking with him and the drive..it's only 2 times a year.

this is ridiculous. i can't sleep because i'm not used to hearing a kitten meow for an hour straight.
He/she is probably lonely/scared. My guess is that it was nowhere near ready to leave its mom.

Awww, poor baby!! He's probably just kind of freaked out being in a new home. I hope one of you cuddled and kept him company, the poor little sweetie.

LOL. Just like dealing with a human baby, isn't it? I don't know if you've done this already, but try putting a stuffed animal, preferably a cat, in bed with the kitten at night. That and/or a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel. Both of those act as a good mothering substitute and will keep the kitten from getting lonely, scared and crying.
