Can you imagine what it must feel like leaving the game right now? All of those stinking Laker fans whooping it up. Sickening.
Refs gave the Lakers the game once again. I'm sick of this ****ing bull****.
I mean really?.. why is this **** acceptable? When will this bias *** **** stop?
Gasol didn't just maybe foul Thompson, he ****ing THREW HIM TO THE GROUND! It's unacceptable. Why even watch a game when its ****ing obvious the league wants the Lakers to win?
He has the POTENTIAL to be that superstar, but that doesn't mean you let him isolate every key play. The Kings have improved because of team basketball, and they can't expect to win by riding Evans at this point. He may become that player as he develops, but right now, he's not.Wow. You all are amazing. We all talk about how we hope Tyreke can be this teams superstar... but then ***** and moan when he doesn't score on the last play. Of course he isn't going to pass the ball around, it's an iso play we give to our star to make something happen. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

as long as you win it - no one cares
Kings won so many games like this in 2001 -2004
back to back game with a starter down after a tough loss
that is why they are #1
So does taking the cavs and lakers to OT in back to back games.I still feel the last 2 Losses weigh heavy on coach westphal.

not to mention bryant FLOPPING on that reke fast break he didnt have position.... ive seen a couple of laker cheap fouls in that game... just WoW..

I'm not glad that Westphal didn't have the juevos to sit his butt on the bench when he started ballhogging. It teaches the Rook a lesson that he can't play like that, and it also probably gives us a W.
Don't forget the Lakers live in the paint. Most of us don't even think about it because its such a rare call... but as soon as the Kings got called for a BS 3 in the key early in the game I started counting every time a Laker entered the paint... I'm just gonna say that the rule might as well be changed to 7 in the key.
Does anyone know who this is? Does it remind anyone of someone else?

People are silly sometimes. If some idiot fan of the defending world champs comes out of a double overtime win over a team which won 17 games last year and starts one of the youngest lineups in the league, and starts taunting, the very simple response should be to laugh your *** off at him for being pathetic.

You and Westphal clearly have different teaching philosophies. Westphal is teaching by putting his players in positions where they will make mistakes and learn for themselves.
I really think you have the wrong idea, and that you underestimate the relationship that Westphal has established with his players. These aren't pet dogs that you are training, these are some of the most gifted athletes in the world the a huge desire to win, as well as already possessing incredible heart. Not only is it likely that they will make mistakes as they grow, it is absolutely necessary.
You don't know many Laker fans, do you?
Some are nice, reasonable folks. But many are the worst kind of fan. The type of fan who only roots for winning teams, boos their team last night at home, and thinks that they are the ones winning when the team wins. And act like it. Fans of teams that win alot have to put up with that kind of fan hanging on.
Where do those who chants for TACOS... lie?![]()
Coach said that the last play of regulation is called the 1-4 flat an it was designed. Reporter asked him, " but it was Kobe, 1 on 1.". Coach said "yeah, it was fun wasn't it?"
WHAT?
I think what you may be missing is the bigger picture -- Westphal intentionally put him in that position, and even called some of those clearouts. Call it (over)confidence, call it teaching, but it wasn't a case of Evans breaking the offense, it was a case of him not executing it.
