Eh, I'm going to contest #3: I don't think that we were lucky to beat the Lakers, any more than I think that we we've been "lucky" to beat the Clippers, or "lucky" to beat to Suns. Or that the Jazz were "lucky" to sweep the Pistons. There's a such a thing as matchups, and it's quite possible that we beat the Lakers because we match up well against them.QueensFan said:And for all this Laker bashing I think we'd better keep a few things in mind:
1. the lakers have a better record than us.
2. They won tonight, so what's the problem w/ Kobe's performance?
3. We might have beaten them but we were damn lucky to do it.

Then I am truely sorry you never got a chace to see MJ playOptimusRhyme said:All I have to say is that was the best basketball performance I have ever seen in my life.
no, its all over shadowed by the Seahawks and Steelers since we now know who is gonna be in the superbowl. Kobe is an amazing and great player. he had one hell of a game tonite. Let the kobe haters keepin hatin'... i find it funnyjacobdrj said:Heh, think the OTHER way around. Too bad for the Suns/Sonics. They put up a hek of a show, and Kobe has to grand-stand and take away all the buzz with his modern-day-record-breaking-performence![]()

yeah, yeah, but come on. In that situation, NBA teams win what, 1 in 400? And Brad Miller hitting that three?Mr. S£im Citrus said:Eh, I'm going to contest #3: I don't think that we were lucky to beat the Lakers, any more than I think that we we've been "lucky" to beat the Clippers, or "lucky" to beat to Suns.
