Hi guys, I'm new here. All I can say is that post by piksi is real funny. Too bad a lot of it is true.

Anyway, we can always hope right? BELIEVE!!!
 
As a newb I'd really like some help with the abbreviations here. What's the TDM award and what's the LW-YC award?
Just to get a better understanding of this post, which was hilarious by the way. As of right now, I am pretty optimistic (/delusional) about the new season and this post was a good reality check, thanks for that.

I can help on the first part of that. The TDM award is the Tony Delk Memorial award and is given to a player on the opposing team who comes out of nowhere and has a career night against the Kings. This is especially appropriate for players like Jerome James, who did nothing before and have really done nothing since he lit it up against us.

I have to confess I'm not quite sure what piksi is referring to with the LW-YC award. Maybe someone else can help with that one...

P.S. piksi is our resident pessimist and founder of piksimism, which is the art of finding the grey lining in any silver cloud. He's a bit of an acquired taste but we're glad he's here...most of the time. ;)

I thought it was LW-VC, the Luke Walton - Vacuum Cleaner award
I could be wrong, but that sounds like something the great piksi would "invent"
 
I knew the Luke Walton part, but not the "VC" part. I think it was in relation to the game where Kenny was lighting him up last year.
 
Piksi didn't say "VC" - he said "YC". I did a quick search of his other threads (merely using the search feature) and found no past use of either so I guess we'll just have to wait until he returns...

Named after Luke Walton who was "rape" by KT

and Vacuum Cleaner which is an aparatus that "sucks" best.

Goes for a horrible performance for the game

That would be all well and good. There's only one problem, dear piksi. You didn't type LW-VC. You typed LW-YC. Now that you've corrected it, we can all go back to giggling about it...
 
Can't wait for tonight! I will be there since I am currently living in the lovely city of Minneapolis. I hope it's a great game- can you believe it's been almost 6 months since the Kings have played a game that has actually mattered?

watching on lp, and there talking bout kings in the intro and its kings announcers, i love that...i would think they would show the announcers of the home team, but they usually show kings...yipee for me
 
league pass is giving a free preview but it's taking a while before they put the game on. it's 8:03 and directv still has it's logo and some music instead of the game!

^^nevermind.. it's on now :)
