To put things in perspective... a 3-5 road trip is what I was considering good for us. We have 2 more to try and get that. It's gonna mess with the standings some but that can change next game.

I suspect we are going to see the standings shift like this until the end of the year.

Just couldn't get over that hump... blah. On Bibby, I assume Daniels got going on him well...

Good to see Kevin got going, Ron have a really good game, and Bonzi had a solid game off the bench, SAR not showing up sucked though. At least Arenas didn't go wild like it was expected.

Oh I am not shocked, just annoyed. This was a winnable game.

As far as winning tomorrow, I actually thought that this game was the more likely win. New Jersey strikes me as a much more difficult matchup; Artest will have his hands full guarding either Carter or Jefferson, and whichever one he's not guarding will eat Martin's lunch.

not to forget Bibby vs Kid matchup - on both ends of the floor

Bleh, can't win them all. It sucks we lost because we forgot how to play defense, rebound, and hit free throws but oh well. They need to come out and try hard at NJ.

Also, whatabout the ref throwing the ball at Kevin Martin? I didn't listen to the game but somebody said something like that so if anyone can tell me, thanks.

Completely agree! I thought the NJ game would be the toughest game, not only the b2b factor but the matchups as well.

Still, if they can get 1 of the next 2 that makes for a good trip. Especially, considering their horrendous road play during this season.

I hope we can get Bonzi some good minutes against Vince. Bonzi's a good defender and he's strong. If he and Artest can play really well defensively we have a shot at the nets I think.

Anyways can anyone tell me about Kevin and the ref?

Along with that for SAR ;). Also to bounce back from his blech game today.

I meant because neither Krstic or Collins are shot-blockers or fast or good rebounders. Cliff is pretty good on d, and Collins is a good post-defender, but is foul prone. KT/SAR should take advantage.

On the offensive end, no more Marc Jackson off the bench (who killed us last time in their loss), Collins is barely anything, Krstic will be tough though. Maybe Cliff Robinson, but who knows.

I honestly was more worried about this early Sunday morning game than any of the others...

Now, even though it's technically a back-to-back with the Nets, the Kings are most likely going to be in their hotel shortly and have the rest of today and all day tomorrow to rest up.

What's this about "Kevin and the ref"?

Apparently, Kevin made a snippy comment after a foul and the ref threw the ball at him.

Or, TO him with force. I'm not sure which.

Whoa. For Kevin to make a snippy comment would be way out of character... seriously. And the ref threw the ball at him or to him with force? That just sounds very bizarre.

Stupid ABC.

Yeah! Gary and Grant both kept commenting that it was an automatic T if a player did that, so they wondered if you could give the ref a T. They said that they have never seen that before. They described it as the ref throwing the ball (with force) at Kevin.

Yeah, Grant and Jerry heard Kevin. Apparently he said something to the effect that if it had been Arenas, the ref wouldn't have called that foul, or something to that effect. Then the ref threw the ball "with force" at Martin. I think Martin should have called a technical on him.;)

I'm fine with it. Not like this is going to spark anything bad, heh.

I agree. I'm just a little surprised. ;) He must really be feeling more comfortable out there. That's a good thing.

Same here - The early morning games seem to be like kryptonite to the Kings over the years, IIRC. :(

Hey, still 2-1 on a road trip so far, and I bet they get at least one of the last two.

*kicks a box*

Every source I heard said the game started at noon pst! I tune in at 12:45 and the post game show was on.
