All things considered, not an awful half. Kings are clearly the more talented team. Need to stop turning the ball over and force more turnovers on the other end. Also don’t play Domas next to Holmes again.

The good: When Sabonis is on the floor.

The bad: When Holmes is on the floor.
Hopefully just the eye recovery and the adjustment to goggles and he shows enough to net some value in a trade this summer. Even a late FRP and a 1 year guy I'm fine with. Wiseman? lol

Richaun had one block, 2 turnovers, and 1 foul in nine minutes. He literally couldn’t even grab a rebound in that stretch.

Gentry is going to have to figure out his bench. That first showing with Metu/Holmes up front was horrible. Just like it has been all year, haha. They started the slide and the super small Wiz got rolling. Then nope, don't want to see Holmes/Sabonis up front with Fox out there. Maybe they get something figured out eventually but it looks worse than we predicted.

More Jones. See what Lyles can do. The Holmes magic is gone.

Seeing the halftime top-10 plays of yesterday (?)

Remember when everyone thought the Celtics were absolute geniuses for getting Kemba for Rozier? Analysts are also stupid about things not Kings.

Also the Wizards will hopefully have more than 0 turnovers in the second half.

Not sinking so deep on help would make a difference. The Kings got confused on the switch a bunch but they are getting caught is simple draw and kick. Sabonis looked good on switches when he did it.

I was for it if the value wasn’t there, don’t just trade him to make a move … but it’s hard to see his value rebounding. I hope I’m wrong and he grows into his new bench hustle role.

The only issue is when this likely becomes him being used as a depth/specialist to spell Sabonis will he accept it? I think he will and in that role he could thrive but trying to run the same sets for him as they do Domas is stupid. Let the bench be a change up unit that drops pnr at the other team. The Kings could be a very dynamic team if used right.
