no rebounding, no defense=first round playoff loss

skinner is still the man though and mobley(for once) was awesome. too bad peja is still a non-factor.
KNOCK IT OFF!

If you insist on bashing Peja at every opportunity, find somewhere else to do it.

Peja played unbelievable D on J-Rich! Until crunch time. This isn't some bench guy, we've structured our whole team around this guy. We need to be able to count on him!

Exactly! We didn't lose because of Peja.

Personally, I would rather the Kings be the 6th seed and play Seattle.
true. they don't have much size either, plus we look TOTALLY different from the last time we played them, which i think favors us.

Let us not pile on peja , he needs to work on some things this summer. He is like a "reggie miller" type of a player [catch and shoot] , he needs to work on his dribbling and shooting with a dribble to the left or the right.

It was a fun game !!!

Kings 40-26........
I don't think you can work on being clutch; You either are or you aren't.
I don't blame the loss on the last shot by Peja; it was desperation. The barely grazing the rim was dissapointing.

How tragic would it be if the Kings miss the playoffs. It is a possibility.

Peja did what he could , don't blame him for the loss. We played hard , sometimes you can't find the shell in the sand.

I think peja will work on his game this summer to get better at taking the ball to the rim or using a jab step to shoot.

RA called the play after the free throw on the inbound.
Are You saying that the last possesion was a designed play ?

Mike did not even get one screen. There was nothing designed in that play

That is not fair, IMHO.

Richardson was having a huge night - and RA tried just about everyone on him at one point or another. NOBODY was stopping him. Peja did at least force him to make some uncomfortable shots. Unfortunately, tonight the bucket looked like a hula hoop to JR.

He got the same look he did against Memphis. One he hit BTW

well thats definetly a heartbreaker...

but we lost the game because how we played in the first half...if we came out at the start of the game even somewhat solid we would of flat out won...

you win as a team you lose as team...

we wouldn't even be talking about Peja had we won this game...i think everyone needs to think about that...you're all just pissed cuz of the loss..it'll subside

good news is we have a rematch on Sunday in our place...not that The Arena in Oakland didn't feel like home...hehehe...:)

I don't disagree with you he was burning everyone. But don't you find it Ironic that RA switched it up to put Peja on J-Rich and he Shut him down completely... until that last play? He's arguably the best shooter on the planet and he can't even hit the rim when the game is on the line. (and it's not just this game)

I agree...I don't think that was a play...btw, I could've sworn kings had a 20 sec. timeout left.

Reading all these post, you guys think that being 6th seed is BAD. Ok, who would you rather face in the 1st round of the Playoffs? Seattle? Spurs? Phoenix? Dallas? My choice = Seattle.

I was really hoping he would work on his game LAST summer..:(

bad news: the warriors is one of 9 teams that have already walked away with a victory at arco this year. and richardson will continue to burn us until we do simething about it.

come on kings!

We had 8 seconds more that in that game to run something better, put a double screen so that Mike at least can see the basket. With 11 sec to go You have got to get a better shot than we did

Instead of blaming Peja for taking that last shot, why don't you blame Adelman for not taking that timeout? <I'm not bashing Adelman, just trying to make a point>
