Wizards only had 3 offensive rebounds yesterday, which is important because rebounding is a serious weakness of ours.

Are you sure? or you just write things from the ceiling?
If you had in mind our offensive rebounding? in such case, yes - Kings are only 24th (wizzards 22). But .... on defensive rebounds Kings are 2nd in NBA and only Nuggets are above us.

It really does seem like the Kings give up a lot of offensive rebounds but it's not as much as it seems. Their opponents get just a hair over 1 more offensive rebound per game than the Kings do. But it's basically all Sabonis on the offensive boards.

He's the only regular rotation player that averages more than 1 per game (2.8). I checked out a random team in the Pelicans and they have 6 guys that all average more than 1 per game with Val himself getting 2.8.

Part of that is scheme but it's also just that outside Sabonis the Kings don't have any strong rebounders.

Fox and Huerter are solid as far as guards go, but Murray and Barnes are a bit weak in that area.

I thought Murray would be a bigger contributor on the glass, but unlike college, where he played more like a big or traditional PF, the Kings are playing him as a wing or big guard on both ends. Which means he's not around the paint as much when shots go up

Probably because we are 24th in OReb, every single offensive rebound the other team recovers feels like a kick to our stomach.

Kings guards need to come back and help out with the rebounds since they're playing switching rotating defense...that's what the Warriors do to resolve the issue. Need to learn to box out as soon as the ball is in the air as well.

Rebounding is a weakness.
As you point out 24th (on one end).

We have one really good rebounder and that's it.
When he sits . . .who gobbles the boards?

It's almost like we have a coach that only trusts only one big.

Metu is basically out of rotation.
Len gets no burn.
Holmes gets hardly any mins.
Lyles is playing sporatic mins (if u consider him a big).

The coach has turned to a 2-way player that is not even a great rebounder.

If teams are grabbing offensive rebounds then they are getting second chance points, but if teams only have 3 offensive rebounds (like yesterday), then this bodes well.

Does anyone else get upset they play a 15 second commercial in between free throws? I get it if it’s before the first one, but not in between. It always seems the commercial is playing after the make or miss.

Yes. it’s irritating

Kings should do what Keegan just did more. Follow their shots. Always standing there goose necking while not getting second chance looks
