Kings vs Warriors 3/14/11 Game Thread

Dally has 15 pts and 8 rebs. I'm just a little surprised. Maybe startled is a better word.

OK, OK, beat me to it. :)

Cuz sits and Warriors cut into lead as Westphool goes small ball for the majority of the second quarter.

Sigh

So we were up by 24 when Cousins went to the bench with his 2nd, and now up 12, yet Cousins never came back in. We were abusing them with the twin tower lineup on both ends. JT comes in and gets wopping 2/2 instead of letting Cousins get back to work. Rediculous.

Two "me first" scorers? I kind of doubt it.

I envision Thorton as more of a 6th man of the year type of player ;)

They have to be on the court some time though. You can't just give Thronton the minutes Reke doesn't play.

True true. I just think it will be more of a "you go, then I go" type of offense, like when AI and Melo were playing together in Denver.

I know it happened a little bit ago, but that full court bounce pass from Cousins to Garcia was special. Very few players can make that play, and the guy who did it for us is a center.

yeah. thornton is doing a great job in evans' absence. putting up good numbers. playing defense. and the kings seem to be moving the ball well. they still have bonehead 4th quarters but playing well overall with evans out. i totally agree, we cant just give thornton tyreke's leftover mins.

another high draft pick, resigning Thornton and Dally and another GOOD vet....wow. Battier and Irving bring in the Dukies??

Battier is kinda old. Word is he isnt all that on D anymore, but I cant really say myself as I havent caught any Houstin/Memphis games. I know Battier is the Reke stopper though :p

But yeah, agree with your post. Reke/Thorton/DMC/Dally fingers crossed for Kyrie. Shore up the SF position with a vet. We're looking good.
