The Kings routinely running that drop, helping off corners, beat off the dribble. I mean, any way you slice it they're getting torched. Kerr is big bro'ing the Kings coaching staff.
Warriors don’t look strong. They didn’t look strong in the playoffs either. Curry is strong. Basically, the Kings can’t make open shots against the Warriors.

Starting the half with Huerter guarding Curry was asking for a well deserved disaster. Fox with 3 fouls you go ahead and start the half with Duarte(or Davion) if you don’t want to risk Fox picking up his 4th early.
Going to need a burst here to start the 4th. It’s not out of the question they cool down and they turn it over a bunch too. Let’s get a good 5 minutes to start this quarter
Part of it was all those open shots from first half? They're going in now. Giving up open shots from high percentage areas is not defense. Even if the team misses them all. The Kings defensive system is largely still janky as heck, reliant on drop in short pick and roll, help off the corners, and persistently out of position.
The positive is that Keegan looks to be a plus defender. We'll see where this goes, it's game 2, but the defense didn't look any better in preseason. Monte might have a path to either add more starpower or defenders at some point. Keegans going to have to be a nightly 20+ though if they can find defenders to put around a big 3.
Last year we got absolutely bodied by the Blazers who then went on to be so bad that their franchise player who previously did everything in his power to stay with their team decided to burn the city down getting out.
Expect to see more effort and hustle that's all, considering it's the home opener. I think people forget about it being a home opener, so of course the expectations will be higher.
