HOWEVER, I think you use your stars as much as you can because you never know when they will break out of their funk. At the least, it is as likely the star will break out of his funk as a bench player will come in on fire.

I wonder if that is deliberate. I do think Smart is gradually leaving some scorers with the bench group so we don't have the typical 2nd quarter swoon. Perhaps I am giving too much credit.
