Clearly, Smart's master plan was to save Evans for tonight.

I wasn't insinuating, so much as mocking.Tyreke didn't start off so hot yesterday and maybe Smart had something like this in mind. HOWEVER, I think you use your stars as much as you can because you never know when they will break out of their funk. At the least, it is as likely the star will break out of his funk as a bench player will come in on fire.
I doubt if Smart is as clever as you are insinuating.![]()

Look at this, Evans and Cousins not both on the bench at the same time.

I think that he's angling for his next job; trying to convince GM's and owners around the league that he's not as completely inept as he actually is.I wonder if that is deliberate. I do think Smart is gradually leaving some scorers with the bench group so we don't have the typical 2nd quarter swoon. Perhaps I am giving too much credit.
Yeah, I don't think that iso is hurting the Heat altogether much. Of course, the Heat don't have to deal with Mario Chalmers trying to lead the team in scoring every night...this whole thing about "too much iso" is nonsense, if ya ask me. if your talent is best in iso, then run a healthy amount of iso sets, while leaving room to diversify your offense. the kings' problems arise when their lesser talents decide that iso is the way to go...

Shut up Grant.
You never know, in this league. If the Kings manage to win 9+ of their last 12, you might be looking at the next coach of the Charlotte Bobcats.I think it's too late.
