Hall of Famer
We don't own the Nuggets anymore. Kings started the February just like they started the January - by losing a game. Kings already on a losing streak - doesn't take much anyways - 3 games and counting. With the 16-31 Kings and 3 other teams are tied for the 4th worst record in the NBA. With 13 -10 at home -Kings still have respectable record and the chance to improve it with the 2 game home stand including Spurs and Suns. After that Kings are playing 6 out of 7 games on the road with the Boston at home in between.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
47 games played this season and in how many games did JT and Hawes played well together ? I remember 2 games. Win against the Pacers and loss to the Cavs. that is our problem. We would have won many more games if those guys were more consistant or if they were inconsistant at the same time. I don't know why that is other than both of them being head cases but in order for Kings to win games - they need to play well at the same time.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
I like our rebounding in the recent games. We do pretty well because the whole team is working and we would capitalize but unfortunately before we do - we turn it over. Lack of experienced PG has cost us bunch of games this season. How many time did we have the opportunity to shut the door and we let it sli because we rushed, we turned it over or we took an awful shot ? Way way too many
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difference between owning the Nuggets and losing the game was yet again the last possesion. This time Evans wasn't there but Kevin was. There was your difference. One guy goes to the basket and tries to make a play and the other is Kevin who actually thought - he would get that call. Yeah right! The NBA rule is that unless you are a superstar - you have to be bleeding or dead to get that call at the end of the game. Well Kevin isn't and never will be one.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
A pathetic 3rd quarter again ruined our great first half and instead of going up by 25 and finishing the game off we turnovered ourselves into another unnecessary and painful loss. At the end - we put up a fight, had chances but kevin made emphatically sure that Nuggets win this one. It was another game where JT sucked and it hurt us as well as the turnovers because 10 more TOs we had offset Nuggets pathetic FT shooting and rebounding.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
my matchups:

Kings vs 3pt shooting - can we do it again (45%)? - did well, not 45% but well enough to win this game

Thompson vs 2 games in a row- is it too much to ask ? - way too much to ask

Tyrevin vs rest of the team - can Kings find balance reloaded ? Kings found balance alright but couldn't contain Kevin at the end

Birdman vs Brockman - there can only be one - it was Brockman

PW vs shuffle mode - can he stop already reloaded ? - not really

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
AWARD TIME

TDM - Ty (barbosa) Lawson

LW-VC -Billups was garbage

JHA - Kevin "I live to flop" Martin

MIKKI - JT all the way

SAR - Carter by defoult

RA&1 - J.R. Smith

Jax/Walk - J.R. dominated with 0-7

WTF moment of the game - do you really think that flopping is better option than actually trying to make a basket
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs are never a good matchup because they usually come with Dickie B. They are starting their Rodeo Trip tonight so we should try to make it misserable for them. They were killed by the same Nuggets in San Antonio the other night. Parker isn't playing. Flopibili has nothing left but flopping. The question is - wich bench scrub will go crazy on us so the key is to stop their bench and then we should be fine
-------------------------------------------------------------------
my matchups:

Manu vs Kevin - who will flop more often, more convincing and get more calls ?

Blair vs Millsap - scary

duel of benches - will it be Finley's fault ?

Duncan vs head slap - how many Kings players will be hit in the head by Duncan with no call ?

JT vs sucking ? - come on man !

Beno vs Spurs - anti TDM
-------------------------------------------------
Evans - get well soon
Thompson - sucktitude
Greene - more PT
Martin - boooooo
Hawes - do it again

Casspi - improving
Sergio - better suited for garbage time
Nocioni - decent
Udrih - weak
Brockman - hell yes!

rest = mateen
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs are 27-19 and 8-9 on the road which is good enough for the 5th place in the West. They can't get healthy and they struggle but they usually get together on these trips every year. Bonner goesd for TDM. Jefferson needs to get LW-VC in order for us to win. Doesn't look good folks.

Bleh voted wrong I didn't see the flop option. Nevermind I'm sure the numbers will be lopsided enough

it's hard to choose between the flop, jt and the 3rd quarter because i've expected each now. i've seen martin flop potential game winning (or should it be called "losing") shots too many times, jt has been slumping for awhile this season, and this is the second 3rd quarter meltdown in a row but since this is the first last second flop by martin THIS year, i voted for that. where's the disgusted smiley?

I haven't seen the highlights for the last game but when Martin tried to get a foul call by flopping, what was the score and how much time was left?

Spurs are struggling as well, but they tend to tighten up on their big road trip. Have no feeling on this game's outcome.

According to Amick's twitter:

Tyreke, Kevin, Omri, Donte, Hawes are starting. Donte on Duncan? That would be interesting.

Tony Parker update

dont know if this means much but

@tyrekestrainer tweeted:

"Oh snap, Tony Parker is doing pregame sprints!! Ankle looks fine, this ain't good."

I prefer he plays if possible. I want Tyreke to get as much experience as possible against the elite pg's in this league, while wins don't matter.

I will note that Parker has seemed to give Reke maybe more problems than any other PG in the early going.

Yay, kinda glad JT isn't playing. This is the first game I am going to be watching for the past 2 weeks, so I hope everything goes well.:o

I love the lineup, Donte needs to see a lot more playing time.
