Hali ended the first half with 11 assists. He ended the game with 11 assists (though, he did get one in the second half, they took away one from the first half that didn't exist).

Why would Gentry want to return to boo's. Surely he knows if comes back and it goes south he will get the blame, the wrath, all the boo's. But I don't think Vivek has the guts to do it even if he thinks it's the time to act decisively.

Now it's kind of getting a bit awkward. Everyone including the players kind of act like DC IS the coach. And he is.

Club also got a boost after Gentry came on board though. Hard to argue with the results of the last 3 games; team is banding together under Christie like we haven't seen for a long time.

Got to see how you work Fox into what Hali has done the last 2 games. Pretty clearly the offensive flow has been much better and he's getting the team easier shots/better shots. But you still need Fox's shot creation/ability to get to the free throw line. But finding that balance where he's your #1 scoring option/secondary creator while Hali keeps the keys is the balance they need to find.

Yeah, but the players weren't this gung ho from the start. Gee, a Walton hire not seen as the answer to these guys? haha.

I'm interested to see how the rotation shakes up when our main guys are back.

Obviously, we can't make the mistake of thinking that today we saw the "real" Damian Jones, any more than the 4th quarter represented the "real" Buddy Field. But I do think this team is legit deep in rotation-quality players - more than enough to fuel Doug's play-your-heart-out-until-you're-tired approach.

I don't know. Haliburton/Buddy is a LOT of shooting ability. Have to see if Buddy is back and able to buy in under coach Christie. If it's at all possible DC can pull it off.
Hard to believe he won't revert back to the mean. No slight on him though, I just don't see him being around in any reasonable timeline for this team.
