In a way, I’m more impressed with this W than the Nets game. 2nd and 3rd quarters were a grind. We weren’t shooting from 3 particularly well. Spurs we’re scorching from 3. We held our ground, Fox took over on offense, Davion set the tone on defense and we did what we were supposed to do. Light the MFing Beam!

Its a good sign....keeping the high level would be mastery. Really Monk is so much better than I'd thought and his early games. He looks close to Fox honestly.

The fact of the matter is that this Kings offense is now so explosive that they can still put up terrible defensive performances and win by double digits.

Davion's defense is a game changer, Mike Brown is really rounding out the rough edges that this team was showing early in the season and habits from last year. Metu's development continues to be incredibly important for this team

Metu played a great game today too -- he's making me eat crow for doubting him and I love him for it. I suppose I should know better than to put too much stock in pre-season games. He's been great for us since the regular season started.
