Something we really need to clean up moving forward. We'll play great for 10 minutes of a quarter and then just give up a run the last minute or 2 that wipes it away.
Sheesh. Gave up 10 points in the last two minutes but did actually hold the Pelicans under 30 for the quarter, but just barely. Still 27 points is an improvement.
I wonder how many times do Kings need to get burned before they abandon an idea of leaving a wide open corner three just to have extra defender leaning towards the middle

Malik Monk is a non factor...what is wrong with him, why can't he be consistent from game to game. Those two turnovers are really dumb. Also, he doesn't play team defense well.
It's like the book on the Kings is just tell a shooter to go into the short corner and stay put: if we get deep enough into the shot clock without turning it over, they'll forget you're over there.

At some point Mike Brown needs to abandon our wing defenders sinking down and helping. It’s almost ridiculous at this point. We trade wide open 3s for slightly contested 2s… what NBA team wouldn’t kick it out?

This may be a bit like the Thunder game, where the bench didn't play well, and the Starters may have to execute better to win. As opposed to the Twolves the Kings have been ahead for a good chunk of the game.
