Suns got blown out by the wizards, Lakers got another L and the Wolves lose another along with the Jazz. GREAT night for the Kings!
I can't believe the Wolves did that to themselves. That is a franchise that has turned the corner at least 3 times in my life and followed it up with a franchise killing trade or signing.

Also hats off to Vlade for still coming to games after everything that went down. I hope he can go back to be treats as a kings legend again someday
Don't forget who drafted probably one of the top 5 best players in franchise history at this point or at least heading that way. ;) Vlade actually built decent teams for Fox, now the guy he hired to run it, not a great choice.

The Gobert trade was every bit the fleecing the media claimed the Sabonis-Haliburton trade was. Gobert was perpetually getting destroyed in the playoffs on the Jazz and was apparently such a buzzkill that it made his coach just give up coaching and the Wolves traded all their role-players and picks for him.

Yeah, if he had replaced Joerger with a decent head coach and not his friend from his last season with the Lakers, his legacy would probably have looked a hell of a lot different.

I had been pointing to Wolves and Charlotte throughout the drought as teams we are still better off than and then they had that surprise run last year and I thought I was going to have to eat it. And a lot of people here wanted Gupta.

To be fair, Gupta probably wouldn't have made the Gobert move. It was the newly hired GM that took his job that made the trade before he had even finished moving from Denver.

Vlade still seems to be in good standing with Kings fans in general. If his status was anything like it is in the forums post-Luka, I don’t think he would show his face at the arena but he’s been guest of honor multiple times this season. Viveks guest. Maybe Vivek knows it wasn’t all Vlade’s decision? I’ve long suspected that it wasn’t.

I actually still like Vlade too and glad he wasn’t ran out of town.

To be fair K9 has never said a bad thing about Sacramento. Didn't Barnes dump all over us after being born and raised in Sac, getting his NBA break with Sac, and then moving on to winning clubs?
Nah, he gets a bad rap. I mean, when you're the big return piece in the Webber trade and you can't really live up to your big contract, you're behind the 8-ball. But dude apparently has lived here the whole time (?), tried a restaurant in Sac, and has been a class act. Still not a big fan of him as a commentator.

I never considered him the return he was supposed to be a movable piece we just never moved him.
