[Game] Kings vs Lakers, 12/21/2022 7pm Pacific 10pm Eastern

Offensively yes, defensively, wow. Just plain bad. If they ran more pick and roll he'd be an asset offensively for sure but those Lyles/Metu lineups had a a low of a 143 defensive rating at one point. That's so bad it's insane.

I'm hoping Queta grabs that role and holds on. He's still a bit weak on the boards, but he's a good shot blocker and and has the passing ability to run most of same actions that Sabonis does.

I think we saw yesterday that he just needs time playing against NBA players. He's done what he can do in Stockton and now he needs the experience that playing second tier ball just won't bring.

If they ran more pick and roll, Holmes would also be valuable in an offensive scheme. It looks clear at this point that Brown wants a defense first backup 5. Probably figures they've got plenty of offense from the rest of the squad...and maybe that's why he's not interested in trying pick and roll, because it would take some shots away from his best offensive players

One thing that’s been great about this season is just how happy Fox has been (or seems based on demeanor on and off the court) even with Sabonis increasingly taking the spotlight and the realistic chance that Sabonis makes the ASG and De’Aaron does not. I think any of the implications that he may be me-first guy that came up around Luka and Tyrese should be put to bed
