One of these nights Sasha is going to bury five 3-pointers in a row. He just hasn't found his rhythm yet. I thought he wasn't going to cut it on defense, but I've actually been favorably impressed. He's a physical and tough player.
Yeah Sasha’s defense has been okay. He isn’t a stopper but he isn’t a sieve either

I'd totally give the game ball to Coach Brown for this one. He had this team ready to play. They were AGGRESSIVE and PHYSICAL and when they weren't he let them know, like cussing out Keegan when he wasn't aggressively shooting the ball. I'll always remember this game for sequence where Keegan didn't take the shot, Brown immediately got Sasha up from the bench to replace him, THEN Keegan comes down the floor, buries the 3 pointer and Brown then calls back Sasha. Sasha was smiling all the way back to the bench. Brown is demanding aggressiveness from this team and I freaking love it.
Is that what happened? I wondered what the heck was going on.

I listened to most of the second half on radio until I made it back inside with it tied and the Kings with the final regulation possession.

Were the fouls on our guys all legit? It was crazy how quickly Fox and Sabonis got put into foul trouble and it swung the game right back to the Lakers.
Yes, they certainly looked like good calls to me, with one exception.

Curious if anyone has access to a shot chart from this game? I would like to see Sabonis’s shots.

He hit that early three and, I don’t believe, ever pulled again despite teams dropping to protect against back door cuts and drives. I still think for us to win, especially with Fox out, Sabonis has to take and make shots outside the lane.

Couldn’t remember what email I used on my old account and couldn’t recover my password so have to start fresh with this account. Sadly missed the first few games on the forum because of this lol.

What a gutsy win! Fox was out of his mind, what grit to come back after that injury and help will is to that win. Love to see Huerter have a great fourth quarter and OT with good defense and rebounding. The depth came up huge today!

Took Vezenkov 3 games to fully win me over. Has a brilliant understanding of off-ball movement offensively and he's got that fire that every 3pt sniper really needs to be successful in this league. Where it doesn't matter if he's 1-6, dude is going to pull every open look he gets and then some. We absolutely needed that last year in the playoffs. No doubt he's going to have some 5+ 3PM games this year where he pops for a monster game.

And he competes hard, especially on the glass.
He’s a really interesting player. Not athletic at all. Looks like a sloth running around out there, but seems to always be in the right spot. Gets his nose dirty and seems to try incredibly hard. The shot from three is beautiful. I feel like it’s going in every time. Curious to see what happens with the rotation once Lyles comes back.

It was very promising to see him pull the trigger on that one but I would have loved to see a few more takes as well. I think he had some other spots even if not quite as open as the one he took

DeAngelo was talking crap to Fox from the beginning snd Fox just lit they asses up because of it. Russell wouldn't have anything to do with guarding Fox, but Fox was all about that life guarding Russell.

It's a damn shame Fox was in foul trouble and then got hurt because he was going to absolutely DESTROY the Lakers tonight, and the refs knew it.

Kudos to Keegan for staying mentally strong and stepping up, as well as Monk and Huerter and to a lesser extent Sabonis.

The refs really let the Lakers dictate the game, and they still lost. It was another one of those 5 on 8 games. The refs called things on the Kings that they let go on the Lakers, and I really hope the Kings film crew does their job and sends film to the league office from this one as it never should have gone to OT.

Kudos to the Kings for overcoming an obvious bias and disadvantage to still get the win.

I hope Foxy is ok. Dude is on another level right now. Like, All NBA first team level.

Sasha was fun to watch tonight. He hustles hard, plays with fire, and seems to have enough basketball IQ to be effective on defense, despite not being extremely athletic.

He also seems like he’s having fun in the NBA so far, which is awesome to see!
Yeah, he seems like he is having a good time which is part and parcel of being a Sacramento King.

Yeah, Domas is too unselfish to a fault a lot of the time. He's one of the best rebounders in the NBA, he's one of the best playmakers/offensive hubs in the NBA and he's incredibly efficient when he does shoot the ball. But his first and second instinct is always to create for others and run the offense and not look for his own. Especially when Fox is around to carry the scoring load.

I think that'll need to be the next evolution in his game though and one he'll need to take if we're going to be real title contenders in the next few years. Jokic is built the same way, but Jokic also knows when it's time to tell everyone else to get the hell out of the way and he's going to go score the ball.

He has a funny stride coming up the floor, very heel to toe. But around the half court, he bounces on his toes a lot. It's like he's quick on his feet, but not a fast runner. He is also deceptively fast moving without the ball because he makes the right move one step ahead, mentally, of the defense. It's a joy to watch him. You kind of get the feeling he's the smartest guy on the floor and that goes a long way.
