McLemore's athleticism is insane. did anyone see how high he just jumped to try to block that guys 3 at the buzzer?
Yea, he has taken a few handoff passes then hoisted up a shot while being surrounded by 2 defenders + his own team. The first game his off-ball movement was stellar, wonder where that went.
go watch every other game this summer league....and tell me the exact time of a game when he passed it on a fastbreak...u wont find it...yeah he finally passed it this game, bt go find one in another game...and if want to be known as a glass half full queen go ahead...oh yeah rmac is a pass first PG because he passed it in this game..oh yeah rmac is a shooter...i mean im just reporting what ive seen from rmac till this point, then he had the fast break with bmac and did not pass it again...then he passed it on a fastbreak after my post...

Ben took the ball down on the controlled break the 1 time and pulls up for a FT line jumper that he hits. I'd like to see way more 12-15 foot jumpers right now instead of the 3s...those 3s coming off the screen looked rushed. Get into he lane and pull up.
Ray looks very good this game. For all of Schroeders pressure defense, Ray can get into the lane when he wants. Having a Cousins or other player who can finish or knows what to do will make a great deal of difference.

He's forcing. That much is def obvious. Which is common among young offensive players when they are struggling with their shot.
What I DO like is he's been active defensively. 5 rebounds (could have been 6 without that fumble) and playing pretty good D.
Well, a big issue is we aren't getting good screens set and our bigs aren't doing anything after they set the screen. So Ben has the ball in a PnR and he gets instantly double teamed because they don't have to worry about the other big whatsoever.
Been very impressed with McCallum. He's gotten his teammates open looks the whole game and could easily have 8 or 9 assists right now. It's also very encouraging to see he's not struggling with Schroder's defense. It's pretty exciting to see him outplay him so far
Yea. The forcing, while not particularly enjoyable I can understand. The first game I remember him running off of multiple screens to get open looks. We seem to have moved away from that style the last couple games.

I just want to make one comment that is over generalizing and has very little to do with this game other than McLemore's play. I am in a horrible funk over this team. Maybe they have structured the team to lose. I'd like to think that's what they are doing. We had two NBA quality SGs and now have one. Maybe we have an NBA quality PG but the IT fans might take issue. I am major league bummed out. One clever way of tanking is to create a team that can't win and maybe we are doing that. Check my sig. This is disgusting and I know my attitude will upset VF21, bless her ever present optimism. I can't even be coherent but all the evidence is before us.
In the end, it beats having the Seattle Sonics. I'm just not sure how much of this I can tolerate except the fact I am a fan of this team proves I can tolerate a lot. Without Boogie, there is no reason to watch. People may not know it but before we got Tyreke, I quit watching the team. I can do it again. Bring back Petrie. At least we'd still have Tyreke.

Schroder can't full court ray
I think regular season will feel a bit better than this summer league. If you remember the thread I started on the summer league roster when it was released I talked about being disappointed about the players we had. After watching these guys try to play together and against the other teams it just reinforces my initial thought that we had a huge talent disparity going into this.

We didn't ****ing work him out!!! Sure he'll get better but what would be wrong having Tyreke and MT as our SGs? Why not draft McCollum or even my pet project, Adams? I cannot believe NBA quality thought went into creating this team.
Do you really think workouts mean that much? Do you really think PDA wouldn't take McLemore if he didn't have an idea of what he can do?
