Screw your stupid arena. This would have been the best one of all.
And dont even get me started on the location of that ****hole. Downtown Plaza? Downtown Plaza?! Who the hell builds an arena downtown where people are going to be? The best place for a facility like an arena is out in a cornfield somewhere or, better yet, in another city in another state. Having an arena in downtown plaza only encourages people to do stupid things like show up to games and events and spend money on things that arent ZING! Vodka or OMG iPhone 4 Cases. That quite simply makes no sense. Think about it. Sports teams are meant to be run at minimal cost and then sold to someone who wants to move that team to another place far away from its loyal fanbase. Who the hell wants people to show up and make their business profitable? At least the railyards are empty now. And on top of a toxic dump. But the best place would be the middle of a boat dock/ industrial area like in Seattle. Now that's a perfect location for an arena. You can trust me on that. Im a developer.
Anyways back to how much Sacramentos new arena plan suicks... Where was I? Oh right. What about the lack of VIP parking lots UNDER the several hunderd LUXRY SUITES that were in my plan but aren't in this PATHETIC WASTE OF PAPER RELEASED BY A BUNCH OF AMATERUS!?!?!?!??! How the hell are billionaire playboys and professional developers gfoing to get their cocaine from thier private hjets (Southwest Airlines Flight 442) to their private suites art the arena. Im assuming the new kings owners are into drugs and whores like i am and if they aren't shame on them! And what about bike valets? Hansen was goign to have bike valets at his shining gem of an arena. Bikes are the tansportation of the future (especially Lil Gavin! brand tricycles!) and this sad collection of old people and young stupid people are too narrowsighted to see that. What kind of stupid person associates themself with no-name, flash in a pan money-losers like Google and Apple?! Casinos are where the future lies! Casinos and vodka!]
ANd the building looks like it was designed by a two year old. Where is the vision? Where is the eye towards the future? There should be turbines here! Turbines and bike valets, not stupid windows!
The building doesn't even have an upperdeck (though you can say the building is going to be an upperdecker, if you know what I'm saying. I'm saying it's poop.) for the poor people to sit in! What kind of crap is that? You replace uperdeck seeting with a window looking at astupid river?! Where I'm from, rivers are a sign of the devil!
And what is this "workign with the community" bull****!?!?!?!!!!! Arenas are meant to be fully designed by the genius developer owners of the sports team that is going to play in tem and then fully paid for by the community. Asking the people who are going to use the place how they want it to be is just moronic. And what is this 35 year lease crap?
I dont think they even used powerpoint to show the arena. What a freaking joke! Joe and Gavin and I use powerpoint all the time. HEll, I'm using powerpoint RIGHT NOW!
This is how I feel about your arena's future
Unlike the sadsack Sacramento Kings, the Maloofs are a money making enterprise!
