I'm going to say what I said before. Maloofs need to lower the ticket prices....more. I know its a business, but this is getting rediculous. We need butts in the seats, bottom line.

This is what I don't understand... why don't they cut ticket prices in half and double the attendance??? The same amount of money is made... not including food and souvenirs...which means they could actually make more money as well as put way more butts in those seats. When the Kings are playoff material again and the economy gets a little better start raising ticket prices again. When demand is down lower prices... its simple economics.

Exactly. Selling a ticket for 1/2 price or 3/4 price, is better than not selling any tickets at all. Better for everyone, fans, players, and maloofs.

efficiency, more employees to look after more people. Variable Costs rise in proportion to the amount of customers

I don't know. I'm not in Sacramento, so maybe I don't know what Im talking about but I'll throw my opinion out there.

I think people aren't going to these games because it honestly is a better experience just watching the game at home. With HD TV, cheap food and drinks.. Freedom to do whatever you want and change the channel if were playing bad.. It just seems like going to a bad stadium to watch a bad team isn't worth any amount of money.

Casspi is continuing to impress me. I'm really starting to wonder how much longer Nocioni will have an important role with the team.

I don't think it matters where you live, i think you're dead on though...

Maybe, but if thats true then the maloofs as business men have to adapt. This isn't the economy or the team we had 6 yrs ago.

Because there is no guarantee that 1/2 price tickets will double the attendance meaning that they would lose even more money and we don't get a bigger crowd anyway.

For me, it is entirely about the economy...nothing more. Go ahead a cut a $85 seat in half, and I still could not afford to go. And, I'm not the only person in that situation. I have, however, purchased a pair of $10 seats for about 6 games. Until all the $10 seats are filled for these games, you can't lower any more.

I love watching Kings on HD TV like tonight. However, even with HD TV, if the Kings had a good product (a playoff team), there would be more people attending the games.

Damn! Tyreke is getting everyone to foul him. I think he has 18 pts already in the 1st half.

One of the few games I'll get to watch this season on TV (I live in the midwest) and @$%#&$*@&# NBATV is "temporarily off air".
