"First guy off the bench" (which is what Kayte said) and "First to relieve Fox" are not synonymous. A quick glance at the play-by-play reports for the games before Monk got injured indicate that Kayte is right. Mitchell is usually Fox's replacement, but he's not usually the first one off the bench: Monk and/or Davis is, and they usually come in for Huerter.

For the season, Davion is typically the first player off the bench as Fox is almost always the first starter subbed out. Monk comes in a couple of minutes later.

That includes the games leading up to Monk’s injury except for the games where Monk was first off the bench because Davion was starting.

Davion was first in the Dallas games and Fox return games @Houston.

Unpopular position. I've never liked Richaun Holmes as a player. But right now, that backup Center spot is a hole. Metu isn't quite getting it done. I'd throw Richaun in there to see what he can give us down the stretch to see if he's usable in the playoffs.
