Even more than X's and O's, they need a strong, smart coach to forge an identity appropriate to the talent they have. Would love to see what someone like Carlisle could do w/this team. This should be a .500 team, at worse. They look like they met last week.

The thing about Luke’s coaching stint with the Warriors is that they were usually up by so much at halftime that they could still come out flat in the third and win by thirty.

What sucks is if there is eventually going to be one of those shock moves like a coaching change or trade where players get a jumpstart Monte might have waited too long for it to provide instant returns. This run of bad games has gotten so bad that whatever ounce of confidence was left is probably close to lost. I'm a little surprised Walton has completely turned his back on small ball as well. He almost half bought into it at one point.

Huh? Buddy is probably one of the only reliable individual defenders this season. Bagley is constantly being asked to guard SF's and even he's done a decent job. The scheme is the issue. Hence why every combo sucks.
