Hmmm. I wonder if Bobby would be in line for the Kings head coaching gig (at least interim), if Walton stumbles out of the gates. I too have been impressed by the defense, teamwork and effort this summer league team has been putting out every game.

usually the results end up bad but I feel like players from the golden era of Sac are the only ones that truly understand the pulse and the way to succeed in Sacramento. Being on a very small market team is unique and they even know the bias of the NBA has for them. Vlade was never qualified to be a GM so that doesn’t count lol

Bobby Jackson reminds me of Nate McMillan with the Hawks. Former players who stress defense. Obviously McMillan had former coaching experience. More or less I see the same type of potential effect Jackson would have on this team.

Teaching/ coaching is a skill that can be improved upon but there is a natural element to it and I think Doug has it. He strikes me as a guy who will be able to reach players.
