Very easily could have been 6-4 and that's taking the L vs. Portland like champs.4-6 was a realistic goal for the first 10 games. Could have been better but I’ll live with it.

nah I was just following the narrative...That's what you took from this game? Haha. I feel bad for you
We are severely limited as a team with Fox at PG. He is simply not the leader we need him to be and makes bad momentum-changing decisions. His stats are great but empty imo. I wonder what this team would look like with Hali as our PG instead of Fox
15% trade kicker or something like that. Theoretically Bogi could waive it but why would he?a no trade clause?
obviously you don't want to be a sieve but maybe it was energy management? because they took Cleveland's best punch and then stood their ground. If that's a strategy I don't like it, but ?The defense for most of the second half was...atrocious. But we managed to tighten it up in the last few minutes. We definitely need to improve on D, but with the results so far, we really do feel like a .500 team as we stand. Better D and we should expect playoffs.

35 free throws to 20 free throws. There’s your make up game.
Liked Brown not going big with Holmes n Len and going for athleticism. Set the pace.
Big game from Lyles. That’s your 2SD anomaly.
Good game.
Yet the turning point was when De'Aaron Fox came back in on the 4th and locked it down for a couple of possession that seal the deal.35 free throws to 20 free throws. There’s your make up game.

It was quite different finish than Orlando a few days ago, for sure. Glad I didn't have to spend 15 minutes of that. What a great win. I feel like the Cavs did us a favor at the end….. there was enough time to play the foul game, esp with 2 timeouts outs left.
If the Cavs can get consistent SF play, they’ll be scary for the playoffs.

Yeah, Lyles worked into that Klay Thompson role running up off of pindowns but we can't expect that to become a thing lol. If it does though then there goes the cap space. haha.
Period!Huge win!!! This team is different.
I thought we'd be 4-8 after 12 and that's with a W vs. Portland. There's a chance we're 6-6 but 5-7 feels more likely.especially after starting 0-4
One thing about De'Aaron is that he's got that old school dog in him. In a league these days where stars rarely even attempt to guard the other star, he flat out locked up Mitchell for a few sequences.
aside from some kind of set up/trap, Brown definitely seems to have the right guys on the floor at the end of a game, barring foul trouble.I feel the same way. These games are all nail biters because the defensive stops are few and far between. That makes it hard to build up much of a lead. But unlike past Kings teams, this one actually does have stretches where they look very good on defense and are active in disrupting the other team's sets. Why do you think they're so hot and cold on defense right now? I've been watching and I can't put my finger on what the issue is.
This post makes me smile because they really showed the potential to improve that defense. They gotta take pride in it the way they clearly do on the offensive end.The defense for most of the second half was...atrocious. But we managed to tighten it up in the last few minutes.
