Interesting to see the general look and posture of the players since Walton tried to go old school coach and pull a power play on the sidelines. Hahaha. Not workable.
I don't know what got into Buddy tonight, but I hope whatever it is it sticks around for awhile. Not only is he money on those spot up jumpers again, but he looks down right competent as a ball handler and playmaker as well.
Oh it killed the attitude. Made Hassan angry, then he got into his star rookie. Now he's left Bagley on the bench in crunch time again. We'll see if pride shows up but he might have just trashed his own get out of jail free card in record time. LOL.
Hard to lay that all on Metu. He had one bad turnover but Portland was already rolling by the time he came into the game. Robinson was uncharacteristically passive tonight during that same stint. But the one play that stands out to me was seeing a series of beautiful passes move the ball around the horn only to wind up with a Corey Joseph spot up three. Blech.
Honestly, it shouldn't take that at this point. All you need is your eyes to tell you exactly what's going on here. Monte had a great chance after those 2 games and wussed out.
On the other hand, the optics of only playing Bagley 19 minutes, randomly giving a two way player minutes in a close game, and getting into multiple arguments with players in a single game might finally get more momentum going in the “fire Luke” train
