Like I said, just some very very stupid plays. I don't know if that falls on the players inability to just learn to get a good shot or atleast have the deceny to get back on transition defense, but so much for that. sigh.

He can fill it up when the shot is on, but Greene is the better all around player. We need more help from the bench when the starters go out... They leave with the lead, and now were losing.

First 10 mins he was arguably the best player on the floor. Both ends.

Landry has totally lost his jumper. Even early in the season when he was struggling, the jumper went in sometimes .. now? never.

Some thoughts...

Donte was impressive in the 1st. Why didn't he get back in?

Cousins was dominant. Has 4 blocks and 1 foul. Why didn't he play more?

Tyreke was invisible the first 18 mins, but started to pick it up towards the end.

I'm sick of Landry shooting jumpers.

But all in all, it was a good half. This group is defintely playing better, but what I can't help but notice is our vets off the bench who continue to give up any lead we build.

Cisco looked better than he has for a while. Good to see.


The second unit continues to screw us. Too many guys trying to do too much. Landry, Casspi, Jeter, Dally, with Reke staying in .. seemed like every guy feels like they need to give us a lift, so they try and do too much and no one ends up doing anything. They just need to play better.

Yeah the bench is not helping much. We're the aggressor with Cousins on the floor but we look tentative and unfocused on offense without him. I love it when Omri makes shots, because they're usually threes, but in every other way we looked better with Donte out there so far. If Tyreke doesn't sleepwalk through the first 16 or so minutes of this one we'd be up double digits right now. Hopefully the starting unit starts the third off right.

I'm gonna have to pay attention to Greene... His numbers look like ****, but everyones saying he was solid.


I love that Cuz has 4 blocks. The dude could average around 1.5 a game if he wants to. He'll never be an explosive weakside shotblocker, but with those long arms, I can see Cuz stuffing guys on straightup man D.

Also...Really not liking what I'm seeing from Reke. Dude should have passed on that break. I didnt have the means to watch him much last season, but this year he isnt looking like the savior. I know he's injured, but I'm talking BBIQ, selfishness, et cetra. Still, dude is young. The jumper is coming around. So time will tell. Definately not a PG though.

Excellent defense on Martin, hustle plays, timely steals, an uncredited block, and a lot of those misses were point blank shots at the basket that just rolled out.
