[Game] Kings v. Timberwolves - 4/13/14 - 6 pm PDT, 9 pm EDT

Whelp, so much for me giving a hoot about our season finale.

PDA: Put a damn team together. We have a monster center, your job isnt THAT hard. I want to see Cousins in the playoffs.

IT took 13 shots and as he came out with 8 in the first few seconds, I commend he for that. OK, the first 12 minutes but it sure seemed like seconds.

Don't count it out quite yet. There is at least a chance the league will rescind the technical. And my instinct is that it WILL happen. You don't punish a player who has come so far and improved so much in that regard by making him sit out the last game. He'll suit up. ;)

Our 23 year old center is averaging hall of fame numbers here to close out the season. 29.8pts 12.6reb 3ast 1.8blk 2.2stl in the last five. We're on the precipice here of a very exciting decade of Kings' basketball! Whatever you think about the decisions to be made this off-season and the progress of our young guns, you have to be thrilled with what Cousins is doing right now. This is history making, league wrecking stuff and you have to know that he's just getting started. Go Kings!

If this was the beginning of the season and that happened, DFC would have been unable to contain his anger or frustration. I repeat my comment of the initial post - if ANYONE thinks our young center hasn't grown by leaps and bounds, they're crazy. And if he doesn't make All-NBA there is no common sense left in the NBA at all.

If he doesn't make it this year, I'm all with you but just as we should all keep everything in perspective that the Kings are here and not Seattle, I also think we should be satisfied (for now) that Boogie is a King. Next year things have to change re: the accolades because the franchise has an investment in looking good; a destination for FAs.

I hope that made sense.

"It's not the number that you want, but 28 wins tonight you matched Keith Smart's number from last season, what does that mean to you?" - bad postgame interview question, or the worst post-game interview question?

Holy crap Cousins using half hooks going hard to the rim, the difference between him doing that and seattling for jumpers is night and day that was unreal. The two Mac's were terrific and Ben's played awesome compared to what he was at the start of the year. If we can upgrade our PF spot with a solid defender who knows how to move without the ball and get a point forward type in Gordan Hayward as the SF next season could be enjoyable to watch.

I wonder if the NBA can take away that tech foul since it didn't really warrant one (unless he did something I didn't see).

P.S. Rubio really sucks I rather have Ray Mac than him tbh, dude is a one trick pony at best and that one trick is super easy to take away from him.

Coach Malone says, "we'll talk to the league and see if we can get it rescinded." Since next game is not until Wednesday maybe that's enough time to lobby long and hard.

But coach said in his classy way that it means "nothing." "Just means we'll be in the lottery again."

I don't know whether it's the worst interview question ever, but it's the worst I've ever heard.

Are we sure Jim Gray didn't ask that?

That Tech was so lame, I knew something like this would happen after i went out and spent a lot of money on tickets for Wednesdays game. Now i probably won't get to see my favorite player out there

While I hope you're right and it gets rescinded, I don't think the league will look at it the same way (like going soft on him because he's come so far). I think they are just going to look at that particular T and determine if it fits within their parameters of what they consider a defendable technical foul. If they started rescinding T's because fans want to see their guy play in the finale or because that particular player has been well behaved lately this would likely cause a revolt within the NBA referee union and create bigger problems.

But let's keep our fingers crossed!

The official determination will be that his actions did not step over the line. ;)
