[Game] Kings v. Rockets - Dec. 15, 2013 - 3 p.m. PST

It was quite a win. Cousins played 100x smarter than last game, IT got much better at distributing, and Gay just played great. IT and Cousins especially both rose up to the challenge and matured their games tonight.

Interesting exchange after the game. Looks like DFC and Brooks were having "a discussion" and IT was there to keep things from getting out of hand. :p

Amazing 2nd half by Cousins, effective and unselfish and he did a great job all game long pushing Howard out of the lane and gave him no 2nd chance rebounds. I hope we don't ever Outlaw Gay Cousins lol. IT looking like a left handed CP3

I am increasing getting impressed by Cousins ability to cool down and let the game come to him. Years before he would of started 0-5 or 1-7 and he would just start taking jumpers, now Cousins gathers and lets the game come to him. Started off 0 and 5 today with 2 points and finished with 21 points on 7-14 shooting. This is a huge next step on his way to becoming a super star.

Nice game tonight, but Harden was out for most of it. Let's see if they like success or can't stand it against the Bobs...

What? he played 33 minutes, took 18 shots and had 25 points............
This, plus even with Harden fully healthy they were down 5+ points the whole time we were just to explosive and actually under control for the Rockets to beat us.

Nice test coming against the Bobcats. We tend to lose focus when we think we're so much
more talented than the team we're playing.

Why? i have no clue, but i hope we start a different trend.

It was a great game!!! and when you look back at the Rudy Trade thread(before the trade became official) , and all you read about is talk from Kings Fans not happy about the potential Rudy Gay Trade....I guess it shows you how much we know compered to the owners/coaches, LOL.....

Exact same thing with D-Will people trying to make out he was a scrub and that we gave up a important piece in LRMAM who is barely getting any playing time on the Twolves. We literally turned trash into gold the last two trades PDA = The Alchemist.

Now that's a nickname I like. :)

PDA has done a nice job IMO. He was getting absolutely blasted on this board over his off season moves but you really can't judge his performance until after a couple of seasons. I do know for sure that he has, at the very least, generated a lot of excitement with his moves the past couple of weeks. I've personally gone from not really caring about watching a game to now I can't wait to watch and I'll DVR it if I can't watch it live.

We finally have some talent and some athletes. Just think, our starting lineup to start the year was Vasquez, Thornton, Cousins, Salmons, and Patterson. There is nothing fun about that lineup other than watching DMC go for 25-15 in a losing effort.

That really is something. Hard to believe that before Dec 15th of this year, that our starting lineup at 1-4 would all be different....and also have an ever improving Williams, who's not starting at the moment
