Anthony Davis looks a very skilled role player on both ends but don't see future dominance

I agree with the general idea of what you're saying, Davis' game is mostly about energy and cleaning up for everyone else but 20 and 10 with a few blocked shots is a role player that every team in the league would be thrilled to have.

Sacto Tyreke never dropped the ball off on the pick n roll. Hell, he was bad on the pick n roll.
He dropped the ball off plenty of times, not all that often in pick & rolls though because we rarely ran them. Smart thought he'd be better used standing in the corner. He also wasn't surrounded by shooters like Gordon/Anderson.

The roster, as we went over multiple times, did not lend itself to support his talents. Say what you will, but Reke didn't suddenly learn how to pass over these 3 months in NO.

Again guys we can be mad at the loss but the end result only does one thing for us since we are not going to playoffs.. Did we see individual and team improvement should be measuring stick

We didn't cause we loss the same way everytime with no regard, dumbass shots/can't hit free throws and no defence same thing no improvement.

Yet again keeping Williams to rot on the bench why even bring him if your going to do that

Gay/Thomas/Thornton checking in with 8 assists against 14 TO tonight and 38 of the team's 71 shots.

EDIT: Make that 40 out of 74 shots as the final tally.

They tried him in the pick n roll with both JT and Cousins but he was just not good at it. He never saw the big man. The Pelicans have the right sort of personnel for Reke and use in him reserve, but his pick n roll decisions were generally bad. They were late and at the wrong point. That dropoff was actually at the "decision point". In the past, he'd get in too deep and clog the lane for his big or vice versa. He's always had the draw n kick game, which NO fits perfectly. Of course, like I've said, it's frustrating to see the team not know to give him the jumpshot and take away the lane. Just terrible perimeter D and dumb defense on top of it.

Rudy: 2-12 from the field. 11/5/2. 6 TO. 19 million per year.
Tyreke: 7-14 from the field. 25/5/12 1 TO. 12 million per year.

Hated the Tyreke trade in the summer. Hate it now.

OTOH....Still dont mind the Gay trade. I thought it would help the tank, and a 19 million dollar expiring is a trade asset. Never liked Gay as a player though. Still dont. But hey, maybe we can draft or trade for a player as good as Tyreke?

The did pick and roll all night on JT's man.

He gave up offensive rebounds.

Couldn't score

I don't know why he even plays. Acy and Gray are both far better.

Exactly. On some other bball message boards people speak of him like he will absolutely be first team nba and one of the leagues best players and I just can't project it

Easier said than done. If it was as easy as just playing 3-5ft off him, he wouldn't be among the league leaders in getting to the rim year after year.

Damn 15 assists and TWENTY TWO turnovers is not going to win you one game.

Rudy hands are so soft. There were several time he should have grabbed that loose ball.

The problem with the team is we are both soft and got low IQ it's a terrible combination, I really don't even think talent is even close to being the biggest issue it's those two other things.
